Agreed, and the FIFA 14 gameplay is a downgrade from 13 imo.

Having played the hell out of both (13 on PS3 and 14 on 360), I sort of agree. Sort of. FIFA 14 just feels so different from 13. I've heard others characterize 14 as more realistic whereas 13 is more arcade-like, which seems to make sense.Getting used to the whole player momentum and protect the ball movement has taken some getting used to. The passing seems a little off too, anyone else experience this? In 13, standard passes (X / A) had pretty reliable pace to them, where in 14 the whole first-touch mechanic seems to dampen them way too much and you end up with a slow rolling ball. Hopefully they can soften up the % of error on first-touch passes in a patch.

Really? I downloaded the demo today and found the game to be pretty bad graphically. Looked like FIFA 13 on PS3 at first glance. Gameplay wise its different but not sure if its better yet.

The framerate and resolution is a massive difference, as are the stadiums and atmosphere but they've definitely not pushed the player models. Disappointed by version parity too. Use the extra grunt please. I paid less for it.

Should definitely do so at some point. I think there would be a good number of people interested in watching GAF matches (whether FIFA or otherwise) and posting about it. Kinda like people watching salty bet, I guess...

It would have been realistic if we were playing amateur level games.

Professional footballers do not have so much trouble controlling a ball f.e.
Also the lob pass abuse is still there, which has been boring me to death in Fifa 13 already, not doing that for another year.

I will wait for the next version of Fifa or maybe even Pro Evo.

I just saw one last weekend and am impressed that there are still PSP games being made!

After I read the OP I downloaded the demo. Wow the game looks really nice. I've spent hours playing other Fifa titles, hopefully will get the game early next year.

wOULD LOVE TO SEE 2K get in the soccer genre, seeing as how good the basketball and baseball genre has done for them, maybe they would actually give us something new every year, not EA Sports cut and paste formula.

Haha... I love Willkiller.

I think the game looks good enough for a first next gen attempt, all the modes I care about are still there and it plays okay, takes some getting used to.

you must be kidding, it looks even better than the PC version (2560x1440 @ 60fps)

Ya saw the demo as well and TBH it doesn't looks much different than the Fifa 13 I played on PC . At most it looks like how 1080p should be , better grass and that's about it . Players still looked plastic-like and most importantly animation still looked the same as prev gen .

better grass, better animations, better replays, better effects, better physics, better environments (stadiums, crowd)

come on, if you're a FIFA player you can see an improvement over 14/13 overall. maybe this new gameplay doesn't fit you, but imho, overall it's much better at least than the counterpart versions on "current-gen" systems
