People love Mario games, and the sales scope of the WiiU, damaged as it is, is not restricted to the UK.

Those games have had long legs usually because the consoles they are on sell at an equally steady rate. Recent figures seem to suggest the Wii-U is only consistent in selling badly.

Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Zelda, none of these are going to do great numbers if the console doesn't shift a hell of a lot more units. To have been overtaken in LTD by two consoles that have barely been out 3 weeks is embarassing.
