Older women voice younger boys all the time, because they tend to be better at it than men. And Bart doesn't have a very realistic young boy's voice. It's recognizable as one, but you'd never really hear a kid talk like that. Tails had a more authentic young voice, something that would be really difficult to emulate.Look at Nancy Cartwright. She voiced Bart Simpson, & she was 32 when The Simpsons first aired in 1989.

I'm of the mind that the man was younger. I just don't see a 28-year-old man doing the voice Tails had in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

RIP Christopher. I enjoyed watching the show when I was younger and this news has come as great shock.
We also lost Tomoyuki Dan who voiced Kisame in Naruto and Chronicle Asher in Victory Gundam almost 2 months ago as well.We also lost Marcia Wallace little over a month ago. It's been a sad year for VAs.
