SE is trying to hold out until mobile takes over before they release these games on said devices.

Holy shit at Kingdom Hearts 2.5 being playable already. So hyped to see footage and impressions.

Also excited to see new Theatrhythm: Curtain Call, FF X/X-2 HD Remaster, and FF VI Mobile content... or at least I was on that last one, until I just peeped that screenshot and saw that it has FF V Mobile-style sprites. Ugh.

Why would they show KH3 or FFXV at a 2013 event? Square Enix is going to be smart with these games and release them when the Xbox One and PS4 have a larger install base. People just need to be patient and understand it will be better for both games in the long run. Meanwhile, we have the fantastic KH2.5 coming soon.

so why didnt they release the final fantasy 13 spinoff when the ps3 broke 80 million units. what a joke of a company. nomura is a creatively blocked mess of a human. toriyama can put out 3 games while nomura cant even complete his non-canon spinoff in 8 years. oop.

If you're referring to Versus 13, well I think it's time we let this go. What Nomura is doing with that game definitely needs next gen hardware, and I don't blame SE for pushing it to the PS4 and xbox1. In the mean time, they got to experiment with that terrible 13 series and keep the fans "happy" while Nomura was busy developing, perfecting, and engineering what I believe will be a phoenix-like rebirth for the Final Fantasy brand. Now, you aren't wrong in saying games like shouldn't be announced too early, but at least we know it isn't vaporware... unlike some other previously announced games.
