It'll launch with 10 hours of content with various costumes like a Moogle-suit for Noctis. Lightning returns and replaces the main cast (all guys anyway, sausage fest lulz) so you can play as Lightning or Noctis.
There is also around 10 more hours of DLC that will launch in chapters over the following 5 years.

Why does it seem like Versus XIII/XV NEVER has the priority at a single point of time in this god forsaken company.
This is part of the reason I felt mixed about the announcement of KH2.5. More projects climbing up in the list to do, and FFXV gets pushed downwards.

To be fair, I don't think SE ever said "every major event", but Nomura definitely said we'd get info on the regular. But when TGS came by and the promised "new footage" amounted to 2 additional seconds in a sizzle reel, I think everyone came to their senses and realized we're still dealing with 21st century SE -____-Originally Posted by frostshade

And yes, that entire video except 3:01-3:06 is gameplay. I don't know what's so hard to believe about that. It looks like a more polished KH battle system, which, given the teams working on FFXV, kind of makes perfect sense?
Also, LOL @square when they said they were going to show off XV and KH3 as much as possible.

This game is being developed by SE Japan. TGS is probably the biggest gaming event in Japan. Japan gets a barely altered trailer of FF15.
