They had a free game in simply licensing that unity demo, but nooooooooooooooo! Let's build shit. Why do three quarters of all licensed game end up being utter shit?

But a game based on the AOT world would benefit greatly from being a system that would be able to push a massive open world destructible environment. The best scenes in the show imo happened to be when they are zipping around square miles of area being mashed to bits by titans and the heroes using that environment as it gets smashed to bits!

I hope this game captures the feel of the show. But I can't but help feel disappointed by the hardware choice. Not the manufacturer choice.

It's a licensed game with a shoestring budget and less than a year of dev time....

The game was destined to be garbage, regardless of platform.

I can watch this many times and still laugh at Connie, Jean's voice, and well.. pretty much everything.

Updated OP with gameplay videos and a bit more information. I don't think the gameplay looks horrendous, it looks better than I feared and about along the lines of what I expected.

lol @ the camera going through the character models in so many of the QTE-style action sequences. Zero fucks were given.

As the creator of those clips, I am slightly annoyed at Spike Chunsoft. While I could understand where they are coming from, their digital manual didn't state anything in the way of copyright reasoning. I will try to contact to the best of my abilities and see what the deal is.

Please would be awesome to see footage of the game. Maybe they are worried about spoilers like Nintendo was with Pokémon XY before release?

This looks astoundingly terrible, it's SUCH a shame because I think the series could make for an amazing unique game

they need to hook up the fan game with a budget :/

This game should have really been on the Vita. Twin thumbsticks plus better visuals. Those textures look horrendous.

Next time just make it unlisted so the fuckers cant do a general search for it at least. Might delay the takedown by a week at least lol
