BEEFCAKE!!!
Nice.gifI'm sure they'll put her through quite a regimen to get her looking the part, so I wouldn't worry too much yet. Look at how Demi Moore looked for GI Jane or how Jessica Biel looked for that Blade movie. It can be done.
If we start to see any footage of them filming and she still doesn't look buff enough, then worry.
(Though I still think they should have tried to get Biel or something.)
Not to mention the GG doesn't look like the WW type at all. I hope she puts on the necessary muscle to play the role.
Well, they have a different DP for this movie so hopefully they ditched that style. Didn't really like the way MOS was shot either.I hope this movie has less of that fake zooming into CG things in the distance. That's got to be one of my least favourite techniques used in movies.
http://youtu.be/NEeSgsAdXQwSo is Superman gonna just slap that ass or will he grab and hold on to it?
Who is Iron Man? A rich genius with a suit of armor who had some kind of accident that caused him to put a piece of tech in his chest..Originally Posted by crazyrabbits

Are you kidding? The film barely has anything resembling "sheer basics". If anything, it's so continuity-heavy that it assumes you've seen all of the prior films. It acts more as an introduction to SHIELD than anything.
Tony's introduction has him discussing energy with Pepper, with nothing related to the events of his history or either of his two movies.
Thor shows up a good half-hour into the film, and barely has time to tell his brother to straighten up before he goes into a fight scene.
The most we get about Steve Rogers is reference to the Cosmic Cube, and his intro scene is him boxing in a gym and receiving a mission - there's nothing related to his past. They actually cut out a bunch of character-building scenes regarding his unfamiliarity with civilian life because it would have bogged the movie down.
Coulson comes out of nowhere. We don't get into Loki's backstory. The most characterization/backstory we get is related to Bruce, who briefly discusses why he went off the grid and makes references to what happened in The Incredible Hulk.
Compare that to WW, who is supposed to show up from out of nowhere not only with no previous film and with no prior characterization, but in an already-overloaded superhero film whose main conflict is essentially between two titans. It's going to be a absolute disaster.
I saw Fast Five and remember this girl's part in the movie (as one of the racer's girlfriends). She looked horribly out of place trying to act tough and serious in her opening scene (when they are having a standoff with the cops). I doubt she'll fare much better here.
Who is the Hulk? A scientist who turns into a big green rage monster when angry.
Who is Captain America? A soldier from WWII who was frozen in time and revived in the modern day.
Who are Thor and Loki? Asgardians from another world with incredible, godlike powers. Loki bares a grudge against Thor.
What is the tesseract? An cube that can be used as a power source and can open portals to other worlds.
That's the basics of all these characters. That's all you need to know to enjoy The Avengers. All of that information is present in the movie itself; if not in the first forty minutes, then at some point in the film. This idea that you need to have watched five previous movies to understand a movie as simple and straight forward as The Avengers, simply put, wrong (and kind of insulting to the average movie goers intelligence). All the information you need is in the movie.
The answer to "Who is Wonder Woman?" could be as simple as "A new female superhero who is damn near as strong as Superman," and if she is characterized well enough and has enough cool scenes, that's all people will need to get into it.
Superheroes really are not that hard to understand.
I hope for more slow motion. Can't believe Snyder did not use any slow motion in MoS. Seeing Superman power in Zack's slow motion is one of many reasons I hyped for this movie. Also, if he had used slow motion in MoS, the CG teams would have been more careful with the CGI. MoS has good effects overall, but there are some bad ones as well.I hope this movie has less of that fake zooming into CG things in the distance. That's got to be one of my least favourite techniques used in movies.

Really?1. You cannot see Affleck's ribcage. Your comparison is dumb.
2. It's entirely fucking possible there will be no training with Snyder at the helm. Again, look at what he did to the Ozymandias character in Watchmen, the one character who was supposed to be a peak human athlete and bodybuilder.
He cast a twig. Who didn't bulk up whatsoever.

Lets keep the criticism fair here. Criticising Snyder of all directors for not bulking up his actors is laughable
I'm much more concerned about the script. MoS was good starting point, but their next film is already aiming at "Avengers" level of destruction. With 2 brand new superheroes and a unknown villain..... that could backfire.
