I have absolutely no interest in the PS3 version but I might try it for Vita. It will fill a niche in my catalogue if nothing else.
Now that I think about it, I might actually get this instead of the PS3 version if it turns out to be a good port. I don't have a portable Ratchet game yet.

But regardless, so you're now trying to say that Sony likes releasing garbage ports EXCEPT when they work with those two companies? Wouldn't that raise the question of why Sony works with those two companies in the first place? And maybe Insomniac themselves would work on this port, do you think they'd do a terrible job?

The Jak games are notorious for being cleverly coded using both the PS2 AND PS1 hardware inside the PS2, which was lacking on the PS3 which is why the Jak "HD" collection was actually sub-HD.
This eventually led to a subpar Vita port.
The port isn't THAT bad. Enjoyed getting the platinum on J&D again on Vita. Got further than I ever have in Jak II, though it does have control issues with rear touch and framedrops in the needlessly large open world... but I stopped playing it because I hate that game with a passion.The Ratchet ports would likely port over better than the Jak ones.
