Yes, the 360 version was developed by Platinum games. The PS3 version was farmed out and it turned out poorly. Even with the patch that installed the entire game it was still significantly worse. I'm guessing Sega decided late in the cycle that they wanted it to be a multiplatform release.Originally Posted by Parapraxis

Best on 360 isn't it?
I don't know where you heard RDR on PS3 is unplayable, because it really isn't.The entire Halo series (yes, even 4 if only for the SP), the Gears series, Fable II (forget III), State of Decay, Red Dead Redemption (the PS3 version is unplayable, or so I hear), Mass Effect (if you didn't get it for PC), and Forza 4 if racing sims suit you.
There's nothing else quite like it. Creating an ecosystem is an organic experience with a strong sense of discovery - plant a seed and see what it attracts, throw an item into the mix and see what it does. Breeding, predator/prey, putting down injured Pinatas while their brethren eat the candy inside and more is part of the game, making for a bright but darkly humorous tone that works really well.I actually have this and I've never played it before, what is so great about it?
