I wrote 15 in one night and got an A. One of the greatest academic feats I've ever accomplished - I doubt I'll ever do anything that clutch again.
Just make sure you proofread
In general, people have a fairly low proficiency in writing. I find that native speakers in particular have that weakness. I've noticed that some people have very lenient professors, though, and grade substandard work highly.Originally Posted by dudeguy24

The key is to structure your paragraphs properly. Keep it to one idea per paragraph and you can write forever. Seriously.
We had a mini research paper every damn month and four full research papers that year. I didn't take AP because I didn't want to do the work, but ended up doing it anyway :(
LOOOLI know at least one of you cunts is IN MY CLASS, too. Not even joking. Actually probably 2 classes, even. Not gonna name-drop though :lol
IS IT YOU?
EDIT: You guys are an inspiration. I might not be starting tonight after all. I'd figured I could finish it tomorrow for sure, it's pretty late and I have a class. I'll just search for a few sources right now and lay out the plan. Probably after 12pm is when I'll get started.
I never said not to cite sources. You should always cite sources, but citing a source doesn't mean you need to spend 3 hours reading the source. He should already know a little about the topic. He should be using that knowledge to skim the sources for the information he needs to make his argument, which he should already have decided upon, and cite them properly. An essay is more about proper planning than anything else. Once you have the argument and information everything else falls into place. And that's how plagiarism happens.
You've got this OP.

Yea you can do 7 pages. Get off GAF and just do it.I have an A in this college class and got a little lazy towards the end of it. Tomorrow midnight is the last day to turn in a 7 page essay and I have not started. We were supposed to be starting this like a month or two ago.
The nature of it is very research heavy and I don't even have any sources, which need to be quoted through out.
I'd say it is around 3,000 word for it all.
Possible in a day?
Have you done something like this before and did you pull it off? I got no other choice, I will finish this effortless.
I did that once for a midterm paper for political science. We had like 2 months to do it and I forgot all about it. Freaked out and misinterpreted tons of material and some how still got an A. I think it was because early in the year I told her I was an anarchist or something so she probably thought I actually believed all the weird shit I was writing. Never doing that again.Dude, I did a 20 page essay in one day. 7 page essay is nothing. Just take a few energy drinks and get on it. I used to procrastinate like crazy at times. Would start at like 1-2 am and finish before class at 8 am. Would still get over 80%. Depends on what kind of paper and how many sources you need. One time saver is just use direct quotes and and give citations. Most professors prefer paraphrases, but finishing the paper is more important than if it's a good paper.
A whole day is plenty of time... especially if you know the topic.
Once did 14 pages over like 30 hours I guess. Started with the first page it went all smooth within 30-60 minutes and I thought, well that went well lets take a break until tomorrow...stupid idea but next day I worked like 12 straight hours on it (with sources and stuff) printed it out at like 6 am in the morning and handed it in at around 7:50 am so even 5 minutes ahead of time :D
Never done that again...thank god I stopped being so stupid :D
lol I use to always wait last minute for essays and projects... but yeah its possible. good luck manI have an A in this college class and got a little lazy towards the end of it. 1st step look at your thesis, then do a jstor search on material that proves it; if you can't find any repeat step 1.
You can do seven. Easy. At this point (4th year history student) I can crank out a seven page essay in like two hours.
i would say "da struggle is real" but I got a 93 and a recommendation by the professor to look into going to graduate school
ALWAYS proof read your paper. My friend wrote an essay regarding Plato's Apology story, and we were making dick jokes as he typed it. He accidentally typed what he wrote. Yes, he wrote about Socrates' penis in a sentence. It was not pretty, but he admitted to his teacher that we were joking and it just kind of happened. He got an A. (After rewriting that part. This was high school.)
I also have another pretty funny essay story, that involves waiting 30 minutes before class to write a three page essay based off of racism. lol
Did it at the beginning of the summer, the deadline got pushed forward by a whole month, so I had only one day to do it... while I was at work. Ended up doing 9 pages, around 4500 words IIRC (teacher asked for 3500).
Good luck OP, sucks to do, but it could be way harder.
Make sure you've got time to take a break for an hour after you finish writing, then go back and proofread it. Even better, ask a housemate to read through it and tell you if there are any horrible mistakes.
BUT THAT MOTHAFUCKAH GOT A 96
I've done it and i did quite well on the assignments. Might be a good idea to get off GAF and just started especially if it's research heavy. Just focus on heavily using small amounts of resources that you can get a lot out of. You won't have time to pad your reference list.I have an A in this college class and got a little lazy towards the end of it. If you end up a little short here is a Pro Tip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2b3nyVD-eHA
For an honors course during my freshman year (university), I spent maybe 15 hours over the course of a week researching and carefully writing a paper. Got a D on it.
For the next paper for that class, I started it 5 hours from when it was due, no rough draft or outline, and submitted a 6 page paper one fucking minute from the deadline. I got an 89 on it if I remember correctly. It required sources and quotes just as yours did.
Unfortunately that turns into an incredibly bad procrastination habit, but 7 pages in a day should definitely be possible.
Here's a tip; don't worry about formatting or properly quoting, just write like crazy and just speak in your own voice, but don't be too informal. You will get through it very fast. Then go back and do those things.
I failed that class.
If you're doing the research first and then trying to to write around that you're doing it on hard mode.
