He outright says,"Our bloodline" too.

Where did you get this idea? I know there is a very, very small subset of zelda fans that despise Majora's Mask.

Saying that just after ALBW and 3DWorld came out is laughable. The two best games on their respective platforms, very serious contenders as GOTY, are one more Zelda and one more Mario.

Saying you don't want more Zelda or more Mario is like saying you don't want more good games.

Your timeline is all kinds of fucked up, you need to look it up again.

Yes, they would. Actually, they did release a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time back in 2000, for the Nintendo 64.

I'd see a sequel to Majora's Mask. What other adventures did Link go on after saving Termina?

Nintendo making OOT zelda over and over has pretty much been the big complaint with the series up to skyward sword.

Really? TP is the only game similar to OOT. WW and MM aren't similar to OOT.

Hero of Time Trilogy would be great. Although I would like them to attempt to shake the conventions up, I wouldn't want another OOT. One thing that can be fairly certain imo is that the next game will be a child timeline game, given we have one come out for the fallen, a remake in the adult, and the last major 3D zelda game in the prequel set.

I meant Adult Link OOT. WW and MM is kid link.

Ocarina of Time had a direct sequel with Majoras Mask, and then two games that continued the storyline in Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

It's not a LTTP situation here.

Nope, virtually perfect, just found the timeline from hyrule historia:

Only thing i had wrong was which timeline belonged to him failing, which is A link to the past not wind waker... though it makes more sense the other way IMO.

Exactly, that makes it all kinds of fucked up.

ALTTP Had 3 direct sequels before ALBW.

Twilight Princess was pretty much this.

Sorry, I was responding to your second paragraph about how people were complaining about Nintendo making OOT over and over again.

One could actually argue that OOT has already had two sequels in Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess.

Yeah yeah yeah, the oracle games. I know they're linked in the timeline, but I don't view them as part of the mainline series.

Can't argue against LA though oops

There were two: Majora's Mask and Wind Waker.

I am aware that "officially" 80% of Zelda games stem from OoT with multiple timelines - but those were the only two made with a setting in the OoT timeline when released.

Probably. They'll put it on a handheld just to piss me off.
