Large Virtual Console libraries opens up on Steam, WII U and 3DS, console libraries are made larger then Steam's due to compatibility/getting more people to buy the systems. Also, people get the choice to subscribe netflix style or buy games individually.
Oh, and Nintendo goes region free with an independent account system that can connect into Steam accounts.
(Most of the internet would come to a grinding halt with that fever dream)
