I'm just a gamer who highly enjoys my Vita & want to share the library with some of the posters here who are not aware of some of the upcoming titles. This thread is for Vita gamers & would-be Vita owners who are interested in the system's library in the near future. I hope you enjoy this thread & find a few games of interest down there that you may not have heard of before.

If I missed anything, let me know. Peace out & happy gaming :)

Good thread. As for mistakes:

The Fat Princess game is a port of this iOS game: https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/fat-...ke/id874611551
So the screenshot in your post isn't exactly a good representation.

Also, Midora didn't get to the stretch goal for the Vita version.

I'm glad that you noticed some of them for the first time :D A lot of them have dates already, and some are a bit more vague. If you were curious about any game in particular let me know.

That's all well and good, but how many of them are big-budgeted exclusives sold at retail that aren't from Japan? Because those are the only Vita games that matter.

Now your list looks really silly.

Is this a serious post? The only games on a gaming platform that matter are retail games from all nations other than Japan? Why?

And only big budget and exclusive? That's your criteria for a game to be one that matters?

the artwork of some of these titles look promising, but lately, and i can't put my finger on why, i don't get really excited for new games anymore, feels a bit like i've 'seen everything there is to be seen'

some of these look like 8/16-bit throwbacks, which is a good thing

Well, the issue is: Both games will sell like shit in the west. SCE knows that. We know that.
So normally, both games wouldn't see a western release.
SCE thought: Well atleast bring it to the west in digital form = not much money wasted and people in the west can play it.
Some "people" in the west = Ugh, Sony don't care. Vita dead! Boycott! Physical Copy!!!!! Blahblah
So SCE should't even bring these games to the west anymore. This way, we wouldn't hear crap like the stuff I've metioned above (only the standard/ordinary shit we always hear, from certain people).
This will be a lesson for them, when their next "niche" game in japan releases.
"Are we going to see a western release for this game?" SCE: "Nope"

I'll be grabbing a handful of those but it's still a bit of a bummer to look through that list. It's a great platform for people who love Japanese games and indies, but I couldn't recommend the system to most of my gamer friends who have more "standard" western-retail tastes.

Most of my Vita use lately has been for playing cross-buy indie titles when I'm away from my ps4. Looking forward to some Vita-only titles like Danganronpa.

edit: Rogue Legacy gets a platinum? They need to just let everything that wants to have a platinum have one, there are no discernible guidelines to what they allow anymore.

You are most welcome cammy84! Frozen Synapse looks awesome indeed.

I think you summed it up well ;D Not 100% sure though.

I can understand; at times we gamers get a point where we want to play things that look different at least. I hope you get to enjoy many upcoming games nevertheless!

Great lineup. Minecraft, Starbound, Rogue Legacy, Duke Nukem, Freedom Wars, Broforce

td;dr a lot of shitty games

Only games I'm picking up would be Danganronpa 2, Minecraft, Persona 4DAN, and Mighty No. 9. I want to love the Vita, but there's really no games (that I want) for it.

EDIT: Oreshika not confirmed for digital-only, there is hope!

Great list OP. thank you. So many games there I will be picking up.

You forgot Crimsonland by the way. It came out on PS4 last week and will be coming to Vita soon.

Good list, but the indies or japanese PS Vita games that won't see the light of day out West brings that list down significantly. I love the Vita too and been buying mostly physical games. Its a great little machine for sure.
