I see this and think "well these characters look interesting", but then I remember that it's a Sonic game, and think "why is this Sonic".

Granted it is a reboot, but I can't see this capturing the hearts of any old fans. Should have just kept adapting existing characters into the new style, then there'd be a least a sliver of familiarity.

Murray and Bentley aged nicely.

They're all pretty good looking designs, I doubt most (if any) of them are playable but it doesn't matter if they are because this is not a game to hold to any sort of Sonic design standard.

It's a Sonic thread on gaming side; no one's actually 'interested' in Sonic, they just like their http://niceme.me of sonic's shitty friends and deviantart color edits. It's a cycle, really.
