Summary of tonight's episode (from TV.com): After Sun getting injured, some of the survivors begin to think that one of the "other survivors" might be one of "The Others." When French woman Danielle Rousseau leads Sayid to a mysterious captive in the jungle, he becomes determined to find out if he is one of the "Others.'' Meanwhile, Sawyer discovers Hurley’s potentially devastating breech of the survivors’ trust and blackmails him into helping track an elusive island creature that won’t leave Sawyer alone.

Tonights episode looks great. Hope it lives up to the previews. Anyone think that damn wild boar is back to pick on Sawyer? :lol

And yeah, I've about had it with all the breaks that Lost takes. It's probably the worst show on TV for all the damn weeks off.

How could a DUI screw things up? You are in jail for like 20 minutes.

Seriously, this gap this is pissing me off. The only reason they started back up in September was 'for the fans' but in my mind they're only making them restless -- luckily the show's still quality so the numbers haven't dropped. I hope they have a better schedule next time around.

On the plus side, I finally saw last week's episode -- HOLY SHIT! Wasn't expecting so much character development. Definitely Lost at its peak this season, and it's looking like we should be on a roller coaster ride towards the season finale at this point. I really, really hope that damn button plays a role today (I haven't seen the previews)...

If we know why the plane crashed + secret behind the button + some new mysterious revelation by the end of the season I will be pretty satisfied from a mythos standpoint. I wish we'd hear more about the numbers...something tells me they're going to ignore that. :(

Oh, they talked about the numbers too. They said something to the extent that the numbers are somewhat like a religious text or religion, in that they will be interpreted a number of ways by different characters but probably never given a definitive meaning. The producers seem to like the way the movie Pi dealt with numbers (and also mention that Darren Arronofsky will be guest-directing soon).

That's disappointing but understandable given they wouldn't be able to provide a plausible explanation for them. I just wish, for example, the numbers weren't etched onto the hatch. It gives them too much of a tangible feel...something that needs explanation. Why would they sketch it onto the hatch? Makes no sense.

The hatch could be explained by the computer, or the other way around. The source for one is almost certainly the source for both, as the hatch and computer system were made by the same people.
