Maybe even before the states? ;)

Brain Trainings PAL boxart:

Notice the DS lite on front. And as Brain Training is stated for a May release... We might see the DS lite also in may?

And with the shortages in Japan... I might cancel my pre-order...

May? I sure hope so. I'm in the process of selling my DS, so DS Lite can't come here soon enough. :P

And that boxart is a LOT cleaner looking than the US counterpart.

Yes I always read that as Brain Dam Age.

On topic, I really wish the lite would come out before the summer in Europe, I'd like to go on vacation with the little bugger.

Alright, so I could get it from Amazon for $43. Whooptydo

Time will tell, but I doubt that May 19 will be the releasedate :)
As far as I know it has more or less marketing reasons. Let's say in 10 months some people would want to buy the game and see that old bulky model, I think they wouldn't really want to buy it anymore. With the new fresh DS Lite it's a little bit different.
Originally the boxart was even planned with the old model, but as I already said they changed it.

And I don't think May 19 is early summer. DS Lite will launch together with NEW Super Mario Bros.

Edit: Don't know whether it was already revealed, but Brain Training will be a low-budget title. Not as cheap as EUR 19.99 but that wasn't my decision. At least they decided to translate it into more languages than other games, that's why they changed their March date to one in May ;)

That would be a way to confuse your customer, having a system on the packshot that's not available at the market. Somehow I can't imagine that Nintendo would be THAT stupid.

And I know as a matter of fact that NoE is going to spend it's biggest marketing budget for any DS title so far (and including near-future games such as NSMB) for Brain Training.

DS lite will be mine on day 1 with New Super Mario Bros.

I sold my DS 2 months ago for a very good price.

Maybe they're funding the marketing push by charging full price.

Perhaps they'll cancel each other out.

Box looks good, still very concerned over the price of BT though. Do we have any idea how much it'll be, if it's 30Euro then it's import time.

Do you mean the game will be full price? No, I already edited my post because I thought you would be interested to know ;)

@Chrono
Nothing new, but it's obvious that the Revolution has to do something with a new dimension
Well, let's hope it's all about 3D at E3 ^^

@Chibbi Brady
Yep, around EUR 30. [EUR 29,99 - If I heard it right]

Oh. Good. Maybe you want to let retailers know? Everywhere has it listed at full price, and it's not just some placeholder pages for some far off product where you slap on an abritary price, people (like me) will be going there now and going "what the fuck?" and ordering it from other territories or deciding against the game despite what they read in Saga magazine or whatever because it costs too much.

I just can tell you what I know. Amazon France sells it for EUR 29.99 and also in Sweden it is sold as a low budget title. Perhaps NoE didn't make this clear enough or they changed their minds last week what I doubt :)

So it'll retail for about 25€? Fine with me.

Also, this is probably the first time I like the PAL boxart better than the US one, so kudos to NoE.

Maybe it's just the UK getting screwed then.

As you can see they even have the updated boxart, so you'd think they would have updated the price too if they'd got a new one.

I think there is an off chance of seeing the DS Lite in the summer months...part of me feels that the NSMB delays are in fact in order to try to launch at the same time as the DS Lite, but that's just speculation. I doubt Europe would receive it at the same time, however...I think it's just forward thinking on Nintendo's part.
