A Starfox-like on DS by Nintendo
#1
Miyamoto said to a French journalist that a new shoot (like Starfox 2 : Lylat Wars) will be shown during the E3 conference. Miyamoto really wanted to make this on Super Famicom a few years ago but the hardware was too old, so the project was in standby until the arrival of the Nintendo DS.

Star Fox 2 was essentially finished. But why does a "shooter" have to be SF2?

Starfox 2 has a pretty good soundtrack... but I still like the original game's OST the best, even over SF64's.

Assault was actually pretty decent aside from the on-foot levels.
which was like 95% of the game |

Well, the guy who tells us the news have known it since a month, but he works in a French webzine and he had to wait before revealing the existence of the game. And Miyamoto hesitated to give the news. |

So, it's not Star Fox...it's a game that plays like Star Fox?

I think it'd work great on the DS personally. The touch screen controls fit the mold of controlling the arwing, especially if they stick with the structure Namco established (on-foot and on rails).
