Why aren't you using your real name and a photo of you here?
It IS a joke, but it's even worse on desktop.i use Chrome both on iOS and Desktop. Works perfectly
safari is joke on iPhone
Opera 13 was gutted because it was basically an alpha version of a new browser since they switched engines. I'm very glad we have Vivaldi now. I doubt they'll build in an IRC client again but a man can dream.
Firefox had too many memory issues. It is ridiculous that it only lasts a certain amount of time before it inevitably crashes. I used it for a very long time and indeed there are some plugins/ add ons that keep me using it irregularly but Chrome has indeed become my main browser.
And I welcome my google overlords.
but google knows my name and address i could neverThat Google integration tho.
Google maps still the goat.
Gmail still the goat
Google drive is a good free cloud
Google docs is serviceable
Google calendars is great
And they all work well with each other.
I'm sorry, what were we talking about?
And that's how Firefox died.

Using edge and Firefox.
Won't use Chrome. No need for a monopoly again
LMFAO I bet you also use Betamax and HD-DVD.
I went through the first two page of the thread and see that nobody correctly identified the actual cause of the transition to Chrome: the fact that it is installed automatically with Flash and Java updates unless you uncheck a box, which virtually no one does.
This was brilliant.
So what you're saying I'm smarter than most users here?
I'm still using Firefox
I left Firefox for Chrome during the bloaty era a couple of years ago now. Unfortunately it's no longer possible to return to Firefox as the de-facto Android browser is Chrome and that syncs with my desktop Chrome and all my Google account stuff. I don't miss it, Chrome is just too convenient with how it keeps everything synced everywhere on all devices and computers I care to use.

It sucks. I'd never used Firefox, if Chrome can't display page correctly I go straight to IE. Firefox has been clunky mess every single time I've tried to use it.What's causing the drop in Firefox usage?
I use both. Firefox for porn. Chrome for normal use.
If someone was to use my pc they'd use chrome first.
I use Firefox, but mostly due to the fact it's the only platform that still allows NoScripts to function.
Yes it does. Every time I've visited Google on Internet Explorer for the past five years or so there's been a popup telling me to install Chrome.no it does not
I remember when this thing was required for me because of a game's community site hosted ADs that ran malicious scripts which could somehow steal your login for a the game (Final Fantasy XI).
