Sorry, i'm staying a little with Mario for the while, cause i wanted to experiment some technics. This time it's more a creative work than a remake ! That's what i wanted to achieve for a long time.

It's more fun to re-think the universe of a game than just redoing his graphics in HD !
And it's also interesting to look for a realistic, or natural look that match with the initial elements of the games.

Orioto is there any way these or future wallpapers could be done at a higher res? I'm using 1680x1050 so they come out a little pixellated.

This one's 1900x1080. Just set it to center and it'll crop stuff to the side and remain 1:1 with the pixels. No biggy. O:

Can I ask as how much time it takes you to make one of these to whatever degree (very high obviously) of standard you have until it's "finished"? I'm sure there are more than a few GAFers who would pay you for specific pieces...

Well i have a comission thing runing on my deviant page. But you know i can't make everyting, so it would be a problem if i'm commissioned for a thing and i can't do it. For exemple i began working on a castlevania piece, but i'm stuck with it. Sprites are too hard to do in HD.

For your question, this one took me 15 hours i think. The Zelda one took me 40 hours -_-

Yes but remember at 300dpi, physically it'll only be 5.33" x 4".

Thread's kind of dying down but I have a question for Gaffers that have gotten theirs printed out.

On campus they're offering $4 per square foot, with a $10 setup fee for larger images (we're talking poster size). Of course, they wont charge a setup fee per image, but about every 5 or 6 images or so. With the average poster (movie) size being 24" x 36" that's $24 per poster.

11 x 17 are under $2 I think.

Does this sound like a reasonable price for those of you that have gotten your posters printed?

Also, any off-beat recommendations on framing stores?
