Still no sale on Future Soldier DLCs :/

Hope it goes BC, I never finished the campaign but the multiplayer was more than decent imho.

I think you mean the first Advance Warfighter, that one had two leaderboards achievements (and that's why I never played it on my main account lol).

Future Soldier is the last one they released in like 2012/2013.

Don't know about Darksiders 2, but I found Conan to be just great. Although I played it on PS3.
Sure, it is a God of War clone. But for me that didn't matter at all.
Loved the story and Ron Perlman voicing Conan was perfect. Also nice soundtrack.

I'm stupid. I bought the Capcom Arcade Cabinet Complete package because it's on sale. The Complete Package doesn't work without the base game which means you have to pay for certain content twice to get it to work.

Dont feel bad. This game confused me too. I thought the sale a couple weeks ago for super cheap was the complete package but it was just the 3 game started pack.

Thanks Vert! I may be picking up Devastation and a few(!) of the Turtle games.

Edit: Forgot to ask ... Thoughts on Ultimate Alliance 2?

I may be the only person, but I really like TF: Rise of the Dark Spark (although I suppose the Cyberion bundle is a great value).

Another edit: Didn't notice the Capcom Arcade Cabinet. A great deal, I love the older Capcom arcade games.

The Season Pass includes the Rally Expansion.

I know the S.P. includes the R.E. now after reading Vert's post!

But I purchased everything before seeing it, and the Xbox store wasn't clear. I mean why even put the Rally on sale for $5 if it's included in a DLC that's also $5?

Anyway, the refund was relatively painless, so all's good.

Yes. MS has always been good to me and not to drive this topic off track, but horrible experiences is why I spend as little as possible with Sony.

Yep, there's no good reason these days for them to put the Rally expansion up on its own. Made sense previously as the SP launched at 50$.

It's a very different game to the rest of the series, and also a very polarizing one.
It's my favourite of them all personally but even then I would suggest 1 or 3 for your first Souls game over 2. 1 runs pretty well on BC albeit a few frame drops, but it's perfectly playable.

I wouldn't recommend it. It's fairly different from the other games in a number of ways, and while it has a lot of content, much of it is more bland than in the other games. Additionally, DS2 contains some questionable design decisions not found in any of the other games in the series, such as tying roll invincibility frames to the Agility statistic. Also, the controls just feel slightly off compared to all of the other games.

I'd strongly recommend starting with Dark Souls 1, which is my favorite game in the series. Bloodborne is also a good starting point but that's irrelevant to why you're asking in this thread, I'm sure.

As someone who's never played a 3D fighting game, should I get Soulcalibur 2, Soulcalibur 5, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, or more than one of the above? What's the single-player content like for each one? Should I hold off on TTT2 since Tekken 7 is coming soon?

SC2 had a quite good singleplayer for it's day. Though it's text based you play through a story with fights that have anything from regenerating health, icy floors, low gravity or multiple enemies versus you. It's quite fun and challenging, especially for players that aren't so good.

The game runs at 1080p@60fps too, making it look very nice for a game so old. It's fairly simple combat to get into too. Purists will complain the multiplayer is unpatched and I don't even know if the servers are still up, but for a singleplayer it's solid game.

Oh man, Tales of Vesperia is missing from the Brazilian storefront. I hate how locked the Xbox 360 marketplace is, as I can't simply set my console region as US and buy the game. I may have to change my Xbox Live region for this, but I don't know if my credit card will work.
