Thats the curse of photography, you never truly get the context.

However, the article was about rising food costs and how poor countries are the ones that suffer the most. In Iraq there are charitable organizations who donate food for the ones that need it the most. The lady in the picture dropped the rice and it spread out on the pavement. She struggles to save as much of it as possible, while the soldier in the background smirks.

It really disgusts me.

Being forced to be exposed to this shit at least twice a week while waiting to pay for your groceries at the supermarket makes me rage!

I was wondering why this filth is okay in our society? and what type of people buy these things? but then I thought about that "Japan Hate" facebook status', and all a sudden I no longer am wondering why these tabloids still do good business.

I used to love supermarket tabloids like the National Enquirer and Weekly World News when they were all about 900 lb. toddlers, flying cars and alien abductions. I lost all interest when they became primarily about celebrity scandal.

If I'm ever divorced or otherwise unmarried I won't remarry. At least until my kids are old enough to support themselves. I'm terrified that they would end up in a situation where I could support them because of something like this.

Too many people marry for the wrong reasons these days. Marriage requires more than love. It requires hard work and sacrifice. Too many people are selfish and unwilling to do what it takes to make a marriage work, so they end up dealing with this crap.
