Are download codes region locked at all? Ebay has tons of Child of Eden codes going from as little as 5 to 10 dollars.

I live in Australia and the code is American. I didn't have any issues playing Dust from Noogy.

some are, some are not. i remember the map-pack codes for halo 3 and reach had region locks.

18th Dec, Kinect Party - Free through 12/31

Awww yeah, I'm going to be dub stepping it up next week.

What is this mensa academy? Some brain training look alike game?

Pretty much. Out on nearly every other platform already.

Probably, with a pop up every few minutes asking if you want to pay to unlock the achievements.

This is the Christmas sale MS do every year, right? Hopefully it's a lot better than last year's.

Yep. Handful of stuff reduced over the whole period with daily deals on top.

terrible sale this week. I expect big things from the christmas sale though.

release date was june 27th for japan but they canceled it a week before.

wasn't there a rumour about them adding controller support? or maybe it was rabid fanboy speculation. I hope that's the reason for the delay.

Wasn't there just a THQ sale? I suppose it'll just be the Double Fine stuff again, and then minor reductions on all those boring retail games THQ keep releasing.

They've not got much in the way of XBLA, really, have they?

Can we put on our detective hats on and find out what the deal with this is? I'm really intrested in buying it but want to know why its now dubbed as 'Plus'.

Does it add new cards? does it fix bugs?

There was a thread about the re-release. People that play the previous version seemed to say it was the same game.

If you bought the previous game you can download the plus version for free.

So it's stuck in a weird limbo, ouch.

I don't know if this has already being posted but here are the latest news on Crimson Dragon:

http://www.xblafans.com/crimson-dragon-delay-down-to-microsoft-and-not-development-issues-60374.html

XBLA fans may be wondering what happened to Grounding Inc.’s upcoming Kinect shooter, Crimson Dragon. The spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon was expected to hit XBLA way back in June but was subjected to a last minute delay. Microsoft gave no indication as to how long the delay would be and concern has been growing. Yukio Futatsugi, a director at Grounding Inc., recently tweeted:

“Many people ask me on Twitter, ‘What happened to Crimson Dragon?’ Sorry, I can’t tell you anything yet. You should ask Microsoft. But we’re still working variously for it.”

Grounding Inc explained further,

”Microsoft has made this decision for better unfolding for this franchise. There’s not [sic] development issues.”

In other words S1kkZ retail scenario sounds pretty possible IMO...also the game could only benefit from supporting both controller and Kinect control schemes so hopefully this is one thing that they are working on all those months.

Maybe it's an XBLA release title for the next Xbox?

Party Pooper
oddly missing from that majornelson list is the Trials Evo DLC "Riders of Doom" which is due out "before the end of the world", next week

This sale looks sweet (Fez, Mark of the Ninja are mine for sure...).

Were are you seeing those?

The link sent me to page were the following games are listed:
- Frogger Hyper Arcade Edition
- Joe Danger 2 The Movie
- Peggle
- Peggle Nights
- Zuma`s Revenge
- The Simpsons Arcade
- Wreckteer
- Plants vs Zombies
- Fire Pro Wrestling
- Sonic 4 Episode II
- Sonic 2
- RAW
- A World of Keflings (and 2 DLCs)
- Kinect Party
- Jet Set Radio

Dumb me, I only checked the first links. The others are daily deals, that includes FEZ and other good stuff (Walking Dead).

But I will be out of town most of the days. I will try to grab them using my mobile phone, but I will have to stock points first (for some reason I cannot buy points on the phone).

Edited: Holy Shit! If all those daily deals are at least 50% off, I will be buying plenty of games.

Dust: An Elysian Tale, Deadlight, Hybrid (all 23th December); FEZ, Hell Yeah, Mark of the Ninja, Trine 2, Rayman 3 (all 20th December), the list is imense.

Free for reals.

If you download it on your account during that time you have it forever.

Just like previous free XBLA games.

If you're lazy and forget to get it before the end of the year, you have to pay "teh monies" to get it later.
