August was way too busy for me. Here are my favorite pick-ups from August 2015...

Got the Persona 3 animated movie and Vampire Hunter D on Blu-Ray!

Had to get Rare Replay, mainly to just get my fix of Battletoads!

This is my modded Street Fighter V Arcade FightStick TE2 'Chun-Li' Edition!

Getting my retro fix with DDR Konamix and Ridge Racer Revolution :3

Upgraded to the new LGX from AVerMedia. This is similar to the Extreme Cap U3 product that they put out months ago except it now has an HDMI pass through as well. Ideal for streaming/playing.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Part I: Phantom Blood in hardcover!

Pikachu Libre! The latest character announced for Pokken Tournament!

I actually got a ton of Pokemon related goodies. I went to Boston for the Pokemon World Championships and was invited to host the Pokken Tournament Invitational. Other than the scare, it was great times.

I was able to nab a pair of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350.

The OG Air Pippen retro is back (again) for the first time since 2008! So stoked to finally get another pair.

Finally replaced the old 360 paddle for my PC... Upgraded to the fixed bumper version of the Xbone paddle. It's wonderful!

Starting this crazy month off nicely.

MGSV on PC. It's about time! Runs flawlessly for me and I wouldn't have it any other way than 4k.

Persona 4 The Animation Collector's/Limited Edition. First time the superior JP dub has been available on blurays released in the west. It's about damn time.

And this came in a hilariously huge shipping box, a new title in a game universe I love so much. Danganronpa AE:UDG. So good. And I have a shitload of pickups to come this month too!

This last month I picked up something I have wanted for the last few years. It's an Alfa Romeo MiTo, my first new car and the replacement for my less-than-okay 1999 Chrysler Neon that I've had since I was 15 years old.

I also spent the last few days in Sydney (went to see John Oliver Live) where I picked up a few things:

Funny thing, on the way to collect my MGS V pre-order from EB Games in World Square I actually ran into the megareverend John Oliver himself on the street! (I did get a photo with him but I didn't think it was appropriate to post in the GAF given this thread is really for pick-ups only)

Congrats. Wish I could afford a GT86, but they are nearly 40.000 euro here in the Netherlands...

Got a killer deal on a Xiaomi Yi action camera plus waterproof case so I thought I'll give it a try. I was looking at a Gopro Session for travel and fun at the beach but for under 80 I gave this a try first. Picture quality is stunning for the price. 1080p 60fps looks really good and 2K 30fps is just icing on the cake. Love it.

Picked up a copy of Golden Joystick Presents: The Ultimate Guide to Metal Gear Solid 1987 > 2015. The Limited Edition of course, because it's hardcover. And actually I don't really mind the cover art.

Late-August pickups:

-I found the Zelda Poster Magazine at Half-Price Books and got the others at Goodwill for 59¢ each. Bruce Coville was my favorite author as a kid so I was psyched to find this CE hardcover...and even more psyched when I realized it was signed!

-GamePro was pretty much the only gaming magazine I didn't subscribe to as a kid, so I was pretty thrilled to find this giant stack of old issues for 40¢ each!

The best part, however, was finding these in the middle of the stack:

-I still have my personal copies of both issues, but these are in much better condition.

-I got the top 2 books for 59¢ each and the guides were all $1 each at Half-Price Books.

-I found all of these interesting soundtracks/CDs and the nifty Pokemon plate at Goodwill recently.

-I picked up this slick DVD-VHS combo from Sony (RDR-VX560) that features VHS->DVD-R dubbing and supports HDMI output for DVD and VHS for $15!

-I found some old Disney shows on VHS for 50¢ a pop.

-I got all of these super-cheap at Goodwill.

-I found several interesting PC games for 99¢ each recently.

-I got RE: Revelations 2 & Rare Replay for $36 total from Target during a recent coupon deal and found everything else at Goodwill for $1-3. I picked up the OXM disc just because I like Conker but was really psyched to find out that this volume includes a hidden US demo for Metal Wolf Chaos!!

-I got Quake 4 (complete with the Quake 2 HD bonus disc) at Half-Price Books and found the other games for 99¢ at Goodwill.

-I originally mistook this Grape N64 for a Midnight Blue model (it looked blue in the store's lighting) but with 2 controller colors I didn't have, an expansion pack, and all other cords I couldn't pass it up at $40!

-I probably won't pick up the actual game for a bit, but I got these DI 3.0 figures for $36 total at Best Buy via their 'Buy 3 Get 1 Free' deal combined with my GCU discount.

September pickups:

-I found this 1979 12" Boba Fett & the DVD (which is OOP) at Goodwill.

-My local Wal-Mart got in one box of the new World of Nintendo figures and I managed to get the new LE Gold Bullet Bill! I just need to track down the standard (black) Bullet Bill and I'll have a full set.

-I've read that the SCPH-39001 is one of the better PS2 Fat models so I decided to grab this one for $7. I already have Substance, Subsistence, and the HD collection but I grabbed the original versions of MGS2 & 3 for my collection.

-Last but not least, the game that will be eating up the next week or so of my life, haha.

I always get caught up in Disney Infinity, even though I don't play much. Heard good things about gameplay improvements, and Star Wars clinched it.

And picked these up with the Best Buy B3G1 free, plus GCU. my wife is an enabler.

Crossed Swords 2 AES! It's a limited release conversion of the (previously) Neo Geo CD exclusive with a bunch of bugs fixed.

Beyond excited to receive this incredible, amazing game today. Wow. Really feels like a true Neo Geo AES release. A huge thank you to Razoola and Jeff for a stellar job. I'm so impressed.

Got into board games and got all these for the price of one. Really good deals out there and my local hastings gives like $40 per game for trade ins of games sold in the last few months.

Still haven't played them yet. Considering painting the minis but my mice and mystics figures are taking forever. The Zombicide ones are so detailed and so small I might not do those at all.
