I went, really? And I said, well, what about [‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’]? In ‘Star Wars’ they destroy five planets with billions of people on them. That’s gotta be one of the highest death toll movies in history, the new ‘Star Wars’ movie, if you just do the math.

how do you not get it this badly

you're talking about your film about SUPERMAN. The deaths in TFA were caused by the bad guys

not the ultimate good guy

and these comments made amidst BvS reception

god damn

WB needs a better DCU "showrunner" for their movie properties.

Marvel may be too controlling, but they have some quality control at least.

dude swapping shit talk coming his way like flies. towards movies that are better than his own

straight up bullying

ant man flavor of the week

b-b-b-but star wars

I think he knows the deal. He's just being willfully ignorant. Snyder shouldn't have had a hand in Superman. It's clear he has animosity for the character when his idea of "growing up" the character is MoS.

bahahaha

way to address one of the safest complaints, which he could easily have won with better arguments, and still manage to fuck it up

Snyder just proved he doesn't get it. How do you fuck this up? As bad as the reviews turned out to be, I thought the premise of Superman standing trial for the deaths in MoS was a good compromise, and here he is, still fucking up a throwaway question.

Yeah I mean why should Superman be held to a higher standard than an intergalactic fascist empire?!

This guy just straight up doesn't get Superman as a character

Snyder needs a severe reality check.
And to realize that his vision of Superman is going to be met with mountains of criticism when people are used to decades of comics and cartoons and older movies.
