anyone else bothered by the lack sexy men in games that aren't hyper shredded sacks of iron? Why is sexualization of men seemingly limited to either lanky ectomorph with 2% bodyfat or hulking ripped muscle beast with 2% bodyfat? Where are the men with graceful soft bodies and ample thighs and ass?

I'm talking stuff like this (nsfw. also don't click if you are an easily offended wimp)

Closest you're getting are Otome games. The majority of the western market is still straight males. That's not their thing so they don't make games that hold to your tastes.

No, not really. Games tend to be about doing athletic things and running around, so it makes sense that the dudes tend to be ripped.

Also that second image balls, butthole and all is pretty far over the line even with the nsfw warning

Im strictly talking diversity in sexualized context. and those body types i posted are rare in games. its usually ripped bodies that get any representation at all.

Holy hell I thought that would be videogame screenshots. Oh well. I'm still ok with this. Characters can be powerful, badass, likable and yet sexy and flaunting it. Men and women alike. Sexuality is good, it's healthy, it's part of the human experience and it can be very empowering to have a hero who has absolute control over their sexyness and uses it.

If bald muscle don't cut it for gay men, then I'm all for the sexy chubbies who flaunt it. Seriously. If there's one chubby gay dude who sees a sexy chubby dude who acts sexy and owns it in a game and feels better for it, it has to happen.

He's shit on for being a shit character, and one of the least interesting members of the part, which makes the focus on him all the more frustrating. And Cindy's design is constantly shit on as well. When your argument relies on you bending the facts, it's off to a bad start

Mannn those links :p This is the thread of the day! So pleasantly unexpected! But I agree with opener that we need more diversity in male body type in games. We either get hyper fit or completely out of shape.

"Power fantasy" type men are considered sexy by a great many straight women.

There's a reason why "women want him, men want to be him" became a saying. They're generally the same thing.

But it's odd to see a thread with a title "let's talk about ... lack of diverse body types" and you're specifically talk about ONE body type you'd like to see.

Like, I don't get why you're making a topic about this as a frame for your specific individual horniness

Lmao OP those links haha. I'm fine with nudity but I'm not sure GAF's TOS is.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure most devs are more concerned with making male characters just easy on the eyes rather than straight up sexy, so examples like that will probably only exist outside of porn games in japanese games from a different timeline.

Who's handwaving Cindy? Literally every thread featuring her was derailed into a heated sexualization discussion, peppered with posts about how her design was "fucking gross" etc.
