THQ has announced that it will be releasing Worms: Battle Islands for the Wii in November through its Partners program. The game is being developed by series creator Team17 Software.
The game is said to bring back the "classic" Worms gameplay along with "all-new extensive online multiplayer support, customizable weapons and environments" across "30 single-player campaign mode missions, 30 brain teasing single-player Puzzle challenges and five different multiplayer game modes on or offline."
The game will include 40 different weapons and allow gamers to customize the appearance of the worms as well as create new weapons.
