Believe it or not, not everyone creams themselves over first person shooters. Give me a good 3rd person action game or story-driven RPG any day.

I think the main thing about it, especially for online, is that the servers will have a high tickrate. Still baffled as to why EA restricted where you can get servers so much for BF4 and how they can be used. Fuck the 10 Tickrate.
I am totally expecting a 3rd person rpg when I go into a Titanfall thread.

I've been following Frankie for a couple of months now, but mostly because he is just funny and entertaining to watch, never went to watch one of his videos thinking "Ohh yeah this guy is a great critic"... He actually kinda likes everything haha.
That Titanfall preview is the first jackfrags video I ever watch, I'm not aware of what he does nor any dirty deeds, just saying in that particular video he does make some good comments, dude seems to know about FPS.

It looks CoD, in the sense that it share the same base feeling, if you get what I mean: fast and responsive fps. But it also looks like a big step forward in terms of freedom of movement, level desing, etc.
And I know it will be very balanced.

Hadn't preordered until I watched some of these videos and now watching the Max stream. It's a done deal now. The game looks amazing.

I think it looks significantly different than CoD, but I'm sad that the game isn't grabbing me so far regardless.
I mean, it looks fine and well-designed, but I don't quite get why I should be disproportionately excited for this as opposed to any number of other multiplayer shooters. I'm hoping that the game will click with me when I eventually try it out, but right now I can't summon up any real excitement.

I'm actually pretty excited to play this now. Hopefully I'll get in the beta to get a feel of it before making my decision. I'm just not too sold on the mech combat, if anything. Everything else seems really cool, though.

You have to remember that some people have PCs as well. This is not necessarily fueled by console preference.
If its the Xbox One version, and you can invite friends.....well....hey buddy...

It was not developed with 360 in mind. 360 version is actually a port by another developer.

Meh, what PS4 exclusives on the horizon are likely to get me to turn it on? Maybe some downloadable titles, but most of Sony's push will probably be at E3, which means the big guns won't arrive until the holidays.
Multiplatform titles I'll probably play on PS4, but what BIG multiplats are hitting? Not really much in the first year that excites me as much as Titan Fall and the thought of playing it with buddies.

Actually I do. If titanfall were made with only the xb1 and pc in mind, it wouldn't be possible on the 360 without serious concessions.
