According to CBoAT the reason they were dropping textures/res was because of an issue they were working on. If Respawn is going to commit with what he says the final product we may receive won't have the FPS that many are going to love.
I honestly hope the Xbox One launch of the game goes well, but with the beta being so close to launch it seems that there were way too many FPS/crashing issues with just the few rounds I could play.
Sorry, but the texture thing sticks in my craw as something incredibly stupid, considering we just saw the beta textures and there was a visual upgrade. We can reopen this conversation when Titanfall is released and proper comparisons can be performed.

Betas are supposed to crash. Part of beta test involves crashing games and servers, limiting bandwidth and exposing known issues. User experience has nothing to do with a beta tests.
I played 30 hours of the Beta on PC and had not one single crash that wasn't caused by Alt + Tab (which is notoriously finicky on the Source engine, anyway).

I don't know how much the rest of you know about leaking (I'm an expert), but credibility and responsibility are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in America where you can save yourself by fleeing the country. If you screw up your intel and post it on NeoGAF, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is getting banned.
What this means is that NeoGAF, after hearing about this, is not going to want to trust CBoaT anymore, nor will they read any of his posts. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but CBoaT has alienated the entire forum with this move.
CBoaT, publicly apologize and admit your mistake or you can kiss your account goodbye.

I did some googling about Xsobervisionx (reddit guy) and looking on his twitter page and facebook page, he doesn't seem like a dev nor a designer, and not hint about him working for Epic. From the look of it, he seems to be just game tester.

Lol. This is hilarious and I can't tell who's telling the truth anymore. Whatever happened to honesty in this fucking industry? Why are they so afraid of admitting to things rather than defending it to death or until someone like CBOAT posts stuff that all panic and say "YES" or "NO"?
