Watching Bunnyhop's video as well as some of my recordings confirmed to me that a lot of people don't realize you can use your anti titan weapon on dropships. This needs to be in the full game's tutorial.

You can, but I found it pretty ineffective in the beta. If you're not shooting at it with a titan you might as well not bother.

The Rocket Launcher does pretty good damage to the ship imo

I disagree. Anything is worth using against it. I noticed a lot of teams getting away in the beta and it could have been easily prevented by just having everybody on the team shoot at it rather than the few titans we may have. The sidewinder was incredibly useful against it IMO.

The gunplay and weapons being like Call of Duty isn't a bad thing, but I am personally tired of generic automatic weapons and using ADS (aiming down sights) in modern shooters. ADS slows down movement so much, and that's kind of the antithesis of the fast-paced movement and parkour in Titanfall. Using the pilot weapons in the beta felt fine, but I wish there was a medium range precision weapon that could be fired accurately from the hip. In other words, I want to kill people from a decent range while wallrunning and maintaining my momentum.

The great thing about arena shooters like Quake and Tribes is that your movement doesn't inhibit your ability to fire your weapon accurately. You can fly all over the map, killing people consistently (assuming you're being accurate and leading your shots well). Whereas in Titanfall, if you want to fire your weapon accurately, you need to slow down and use your ironsights, or get really close to your opponent and use a shotgun.

AGREED. Think about how much fun this game would be if the running/ moving was a biiiit faster and there was no aim down sights. Sprinting around the map twitch-shooting as soon as you see anyone?? That would be awesome.

I'm not trying to shit on the game. Its a lot of fun, the movement is truly innovative and it'll be a day one purchase for me on PC. I do wish that ADS would go away though.

You can't play a fast paced console shooter without ADS (or something similar) because your sensitivity would be too high to aim.

Is halo not an argument against this? Correct me if I'm wrong as I never played competitive halo.

No, he means specifically being able to set up custom matches separate from the public pool.

The game itself will always be tied to the Azure servers, short of someone hacking into the game(which did/does happen in Modern Warfare 2, actually)

In case anyone else is in this situation, GMG don't know when they'll get Titanfall keys, but the usual for situations like this is around midnight for release day.
