Bah, just got back from over 3 weeks abroad and missed the beta and everything....

What's the consensus so far? Worth plunking down the money for? The only multiplayer game I've played any significant amount of over the last 10+ years has been Killzone:Mercenary for the Vita. Should I take the plunge? My laptop should be able to handle it no problem. I'm kinda afraid of getting the game months from now, and getting demolished by anyone and everyone...

The game itself will always be tied to the Azure servers, short of someone hacking into the game(which did/does happen in Modern Warfare 2, actually)

Weren't MW2 matches hosted p2p though?

Titanfall is all dedicated ... there'd be no way to hack dedicated server support into the game without also acquiring server binaries.

Welp pre-ordered this morning via Origin.
Decided this and ROS is pretty much gonna be my games for the next foreseeable future.

I initially decided to make good on my wasteful purchase of BF4 + Premium (Tried to get a refund, not eligible in South Africa, no fucking 48 hour grace window or anything), but local servers seem to favor running vanilla BF4. So prem has been a fucking waste. Maybe someday once they do a humble bundle again the local stuff would be sorted out.

So yeah Titanfall get.

I had this issue at first on my laptop - it isn't the same make, but it may help.
Do you have switchable graphics? If so make sure you're using the dedicated guard, mine automatically selected integrated for some reason, thus the issues.
