ps4 will annihilate xbone worldwide when gt7 drops. It has a chance in us/uk, but worldwide? PS4 will crush Xbone in March.

2.28 attachment rate.
That's very strong. Sony is killin' it.
If that's the case, doesn't it mean that the PS4 is profiting for Sony? We don't really know how much Sony is losing per PS4. We do know Sony is taking a slight loss on it though. I wonder if 2 games is enough to profit.
Enthusiasts haven't even bought one yet, they're all acting nonchalant on forums waiting until the PS4 has the "must-have" game. It's the general public that are going mad for the PS4 that's why attachment rates aren't as high as the One which has the enthusiasts.
We've had these since November. They're getting banned faster than we can approve them !!GAF will explode if Sony still outsells MS. It will be a bloodbath of meltdowns, bans, and utter chaos.
And get me some pie charts !! Bitches love pie charts.Where are the graphs? I like graphs
If our insiders are to be believed there's more anxiety than anything. They have a lot of responsibility on their plate to deliver. If the (probably) 8 million gamers aren't satiated soon (or by E3) they're gonna be pissed.I honestly wonder if Sony themselves are even surprised. I get the feeling they are like "wait...wat is happening"

GAF would be down for a week!Yeah, I think it will too, but imagine if it didn't. The reaction here would be insane.
PS4 was/is/will annihilate Xbone Worldwide...its basically over now.
MS/Ninty is playing 2nd place now.
What were the last numbers out of Microsoft? 3.9m shipped as of late January (was it) 3.0 sold-through as of last December?
Considering 370k in Japan, that leaves 330k for the rest of the world and...that's incredibly low.
Exactly my thought.
Sony can produce more than 1M PS4/month.
WTF are they doing?
Like I said before its missing 8 days of Feb.Exactly my thought.

It is way too early to say these kinds of things.
Risk. You can't go back and regret that. New IP new gen, they sold to mitigate that risk.EA must be in regret right now for having Titanfall only for Microsoft consoles. I'm sure Microsoft paid big money for the exclusivity but EA could have gotten more if they release it for Sony's consoles as well.
FWIW, I'm working at a swiss electronics retailer and while we got decently sized PS4 shipments weekly in December/January (and when checking GAF threads it seemed to me that shipments were hitting in EU all at the same time), we got next to nothing in February. So yeah, not sure. Maybe stocking up for March for Infamous and to counter Titanfall?Exactly my thought.

lol ea. just their luck. they associated their games heavily with the ps3 during the past couple of years (dead space, medal of honour, battlefield, etc.) and now they thought aha better associate ourselves with the xbox so they doubled down on their ea sports games and now titanfall.EA must be in regret right now for having Titanfall only for Microsoft consoles. In late January Microsoft announced they had shipped 3.9 million units up to December 31st 2013. Of those 3.9 million units, 3.0 million were sold-through.What were the last numbers out of Microsoft? 3.9m shipped as of late January (was it) 3.0 sold-through as of last December?
It's not a "danger"- it's a concession you're willing to make for money up front. And when you try to mitigate your risk, you can be in danger of ending up with less return on your investment. That's what may happen here.
FWIW, I'm working at a swiss electronics retailer and while we got decently sized PS4 shipments weekly in December/January (and when checking GAF threads it seemed to me that shipments were hitting in EU all at the same time), we got next to nothing in February. you do know ps2 sold 155 million units worldwide, yes? to put that into perspective, the popular wii sold 55 million less than the ps2.Thanks for these information. very nice post.
at this Rate PS4 will kill the PS2 in terms of sales. and that is just super awesome.
It's selling significantly faster than the Wii and the PS2 month for month. The real test comes in the 9 month after the PS4's second holiday, which is when the PS2 blew the doors off and kept the "launch momentum" going for an additional year.Only the PS2 and Wii have sold faster, right?
It's not a "danger"- it's a concession you're willing to make for money up front.
I guess. I see it more as a "well it could have been more"- but I don't think they regret it.Right, and it is completely possible to end up regretting your decision to concede because you end up with less money, which was the whole point of the guy's original post on the subject.
