Next-gen focus
Batmobile
Scarecrow returns

3 things I really wanted and they've delivered.

Fuck yeah!

The cover is saying "There ya go, a Batmobile, happy? BTW, Batman can pretty much fly which is way cooler and faster than driving around in a car"

I hope there isn't a cg reveal trailer like previous Arkham games. I want to see how this game looks on next gen asap.

Everything about this so far makes Origins looks more like a shoe in than it already did before. lol

As I said in the other thread, really fantastic news that it's seemingly current gen only. That has me very hyped for what they'll achieve in both scope of the city and visuals.

Not sure about the description though. Scarecrow bringing together the most notorious villains isn't all that different from Black Mask bringing together the most notorious assassins to take down Bats in Origins.

funny, doesn't the batmobile seem to get blown up in every arkham game?

Does rocksteady have any driving folks? I really do hope they don't fuck up the driving controls... That thing really needs to be fast enough or i'd rather just fly around instead.

So next gen only games are starting to come up. Definitely get this. Hopefully game will inculde some other DC heroes cameos. Green Lantern DLC? Yes.

In the explosive finale to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever.

Batman: Arkham Knight introduces Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City.

Be The Batman.

I don't know how I feel about this. I really enjoyed Arkham Origins but I'm feeling a bit burned out on the series and it's formula.

I hope there's some innovations to the overall gameplay this time around.

Finally! And next gen only. God damnit, the Batmobile! Easily my most wanted!
I hope this has a huge open world.

Its starting to get really silly that every game has the name 'Arkham' in it.

I'm sure Batman could sell the game on his own

So what was the point of Arkham Origins then? They went Call of Duty on us? Two Arkham studios? I thought initially that when Rocksteady didn't make Origins that they were done making Batman games.

It's very surprising that they seem to be skipping the last gen versions. Like I said in the IG thread, I think this will be the first major multiplatform game to skip the last gen versions in favor of a fully current gen game.

The Witcher 3 and Evolve are also Next-Gen only.

With Rocksteady back at the helm, I'm sure it will be amazing. Gotham City and a drivable Batmobile - what's not to like about it? The fact they're working on next-gen only is great, too, no lazy ports here.

What's the bet, they'll be customizable Batmobiles (eg: Tim Burtons version, etc)
