Might be low-hanging fruit by now as far as Brandy is concerned.

Might need to find something else... maybe calling Angel Beats a good show, but even suggesting such made me throw up in my mouth a little.
Sorry PsychoNinja!

Oh I thought you were talking about Game Freak.

Easy mistake to make given their treatment of fire types since gen 4!

Hyouka isnt even worth the silly bickering. I didnt love it but I dont hate it either.

Seraphis Cain

bad gameplay lol
Chuunibyou Ren 11

Kinda like this show lolololol

Okay look, I know this is anime. Trying to apply real-world logic to it is often a fool's errand. With that said, I'm totally going to apply real-world logic to it. Is that fair? NOPE!

So yeah, the whole Shichimiya thing kinda just resolved itself. Just like Kumin said it would. Kumin again proving that she's the smartest character in the show. Please no third season, because a season without Kumin is a season not worth watching. Meanwhile, Rikka gets sick and then stupidly puts her own well-being at stake to find some dumb arcade tokens that Yuuta assigned some arbitrary meaning to when he was full-on chuuni. The fact that Rikka still went after them despite her illness and obviously knowing that Yuuta no longer placed importance on the chuuni thing aside from encouraging her own chuuni just shows that she's SO FAR down the chuuni-hole that it's gonna take years of intensive counseling for her to exist in the real world once she's out of high school. Okay, so that's not entirely the case. I know Rikka went after the coins because she was beginning to doubt her and Yuuta's relationship. But again, she's so far down the chuuni-hole that doing this seems like a better idea to her than just, I don't know, TALKING TO HER BOYFRIEND. She and Yuuta have been dating for quite some time now. They should be well beyond the "too nervous to talk about important things" stage. Oh and *insert complaint about Yuuta treating her more like a daughter than a girlfriend here*.

But whatever, KyoAni threw a bunch of money at their animators and we got a really nice looking delusion scene out of it. I guess that made it worth it. Hopefully the final episode ends with them finally goddamn kissing so we can get the payoff we've waited 25 episodes for. A payoff we could have gotten long ago by just reading a doujin or something.

I don't hate the show, I swear, but it just keeps getting harder and harder to buy into the things the show asks of the viewer.

So how long do you expect the noitaminA presentation to be? Do you think they'll reveal much about the new shows besides the title and basic premise (if it's not an adaptation/sequel)?

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own

probably an hour long and yes but still will be vague about it

Guys, guys, what show is this gif from?

Also, could I get suggestions for some good comedies from the past few years? I've already seen Gintama and Daily Lives of High School Boys.

pls don't say Nichijou, it just doesn't look interesting to me.

Kill la Kill 23

I got chills the second Sanbika started playing, and the scene itself was already awesome enough without a fantastic track accompanying it. It's as fitting as Happily Ever After was in TTGL.

This is really everything I could have hoped for and more. This is the presentation of TTGL with a different message, and I am loving every second of it. Everything from the camera cuts to the dialogue boasts enthusiasm, and I am loving every second.

I have complete faith in Trigger to end this on a high note and make this my AOTY two years in a row.

That show I will never spell right on my first try Kemonozume 1

The only Yuasa show I've seen is Tatami Galaxy, which I loved, so in anticipation of Ping Pong I thought I'd watch this.

Yeah I think I'm gonna like this. It's weird! Dark and atmospheric, but strangely silly at the same time. It's a pretty lovably odd tone. Despite the grim premise, I found myself laughing at several points.

I imagine the art turned a lot of people off right away, but I like it. It really fits the tone of the show so far: Kind of creepy, kind of goofy, kind of weird, and very unique. And it's nice watching a show that's very removed from typical anime art. Nice jazz soundtrack also.

Looking forward to seeing where the story goes!

That monkey though.

Detroit Metal City

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

Seitokai Yakuindomo

Baka Test

Cromartie High

School Rumble

Some of these are not exactly super modern but they aren't terribly outdated. I know more but unfortunately it's late and i can't think terribly well. If none of these appeal to you just let us know and I'll give you more.

Chuunibyou Ren ep.11

See, in contrast to Samumenco, which has bad production values but a story that I can't wait to see the conclusion, this show has excellent production values but a story I'm forcibly going to drag myself to finish next week if only for the sake of completion.

If you people said that Aura movie handled chuunibyou way better than this, I'm gonna have to give that a shot then.

This one is pretty solid list, nothing can't go wrong with it.

Samurai Insanimenco - Episode 21

This climatic arc is turning out to be really, really, really weird. This was a much better episode than the previous one, but I still have reservations about where this is all going or how it can end. There's some pretty neat character stuff going on in this episode, but I wish that they had more time instead of rushing through it. The Flamenger arc should definitely have been shortened to make more room for character stuff in this final arc I think. Oh well, only one more to go! Hope it ends well!

Things went down.
So Toshihiko and Yuka are on the run now, from the the other Flesh Eaters (presumably) and the monster hunters. And did Yuka kill ol' daddy? I'm guessing yes. Because it's more tragic that way. :p

So it seems like the person Toshihiko is seeing when he freaks out in monster fights is Yuka's mom. Bet he killed her.

What exactly was it they had Yuka drink at the dinner. Was it a truth serum? If so my above theory is probably wrong. >.>

Kill la Kill 23

Kill la Kill is an amazing show
if all you care about is the action scenes
. Otherwise this is just another anime with a paper thin plot and 2-dimensional characters that is vastly overrated and panders like there's no tomorrow. I watch this show for it's fun fights and ridiculousness. But I don't delude myself into thinking that this anime is anything more than that.

Glad this all comes to an end this next week.

Engaged to the Unidentified 11

This episode kind of felt like it was spinning it's wheels and wasn't as funny as previous weeks. The banter between Benio and Mashiro is still great.

The cliffhanger finally threw a wrench in the mix and that was nice to see but knowing that next week is the last episode of the show I am a little sad and honestly worried about how they will tie it up nicely in the final episode.

Edit: I have my Toradora Series review written and mostly done. I am just gonna wait till tomorrow morning to post it when the people who wanted me to watch the series are awake and watching this thread.
