I remember then this game was the definition of next gen. Funny it's the definition of not-next gen now. Hopefully it's good on itself. I LOVE virtual tourism!

Why is it running at 15fps?

The reveal trailer...
Such promise much hope

Not too bad. Gave it a more GTA feel in that trailer. NPC models look pretty bad though. Outside of that it looked very clean, so I assume this is the PC version???

It looks pretty nice in the trailer, no doubt, but it's really quite clear that its lighting engine isn't all it could have been. Second Son is so much more impressive and realistic in comparison.

Hated that camera work in the first 40 or so seconds for some reason. I'll wait for reviews on this instead of pre-ordering. Most interesting part was that I learned I was saying Ubisoft incorrectly all this time.

The fuck was up those camera sequences in the beginning?

They were horrible.

Ah, someone else noticed too. They were horrendous. Not sure what they were going for.

:lol

It's amazing how each subsequent trailer for this game has decreased my hype substantially. It jusy doesn't look all that interesting.

Just watched it again and decided to downgrade my B to a D grade after thinking that my previous grade was causing troubles in the back of my mind

Their are really trying to make it look like GTA, aren't they?

The colors palette, the lighting, even parts of the trailer editing remind of GTA.

I'm from Chicago and this doesn't feel like the area at all. Looks way too sterilized. Also, there are seemingly mountains or valleys of some sort. Chicago is almost completely flat.

I'm actually getting hyped for this. Basically Die Hard 4 in an open world that looks alive enough for random replays, and multiplayer could be fun. Easily looks like the best open world game that will be on next gen consoles so far.

Meh. I'd have preferred them showing more direct-feed gameplay, not an artificially enhanced cinematic in-engine trailer or whatever that was.

Game looks a little better, video seemed to rip off the R* videos. The opening felt like a GTA 5 video lol.

That actually looked pretty cool. I've been pretty disappointed with what I've seen from this game over the last month or so but that trailer is giving me a glimmer of hope that this could actually still be good

Game looks great, although it is obviously held back by the oldgen. Lightning at full-on daylight is also not so hot.

The game detail seems great, plenty of variety of things going on.

My only gripe after playing Infamous Second Son (noticeable before hand also) is the textures and graphics look cross-gen, or spec'ed to the lowest Next-Gen system...possibly bandwidth/GPU parity for development cost.

I will likely try it out, but its not blowing me away like the initial reveal did.

yup streets look way to bland and dull. Everything just feels completely off and the feeling of the city looks to be lost now. It's going to look like Chicago but it's most likely not going to feel like chicago.

Also it doesn't seem they removed that giant bridge over all that water which doesn't exist in chicago. If you don't know what I'm talking about watch the jimmy fallon demo and they go over this HUGE bridge that's over water.

The game looks great, looks like that have a lot of things to do

But everybody will just ignore the gameplay of it and just talk about the graphics

Also, it's way too fucking sunny to be Chicago. Chicago's terrible weather is one of the key facets that brings the dreariness/character to the city and it's culture. The place is really only enjoyable from early June to Late October.

This does not look much better than a GTA V in 1080p (which we don't have anyway). As someone posted above, the whole world is a bit sterile and empty. Yeah the guy flying the RC copter and the one playing in the park is nice, there'll be be probably 10 of them in the whole game.

However at the part where they said you can hack everyone and find stuff out, save them and other shit. Now if they do that right, I'm in. I got this Person of Interest feeling from that in the trailer.

Also wtf was that shaky cam before the guy talks?
