Here is an explanation of recent trademark information: http://pastebin.com/rRrPhH7u

In case you are confused, td;lr Crash is still owned by Activision (But recently, not in the hands of Vivendi, not to be confused with Vivendi Games), aka acquired Sierra.. (Which originally owned it, which was also Vivendi Games, or aka Universal)

I'm really enjoying the first Crash on the Vita, think I played through twenty levels in one sitting. A few months ago I stopped after about 7-8 on the PS3.
Almost makes me want to buy the digital versions of 2 and 3 even though I still have the discs.

My favourite Crash game, mainly because of the progression of Crash through the World Map which is reflected by the design of each level. Also the difficulty and best bosses.

I've completed it in one sitting once before, New Year's Eve/Day several years ago. My younger cousins watched as I managed to defeat Cortex just before it was time to go home. It was on PSP!

I've never rebought any PS1 or PS2 games I own. Having a hacked PS3 and PSP I can just rip my own copies. In fact I remember when the PSP's PS1 emulator first got hacked Crash 2, 3 and CTR weren't even on the PS Store but hacked PSP owners could enjoy them and all the other games not available! The same is true of the PS3's emulator on PS2 which can run a decent amount of titles not available on PSN.

Crash 2 doesn't have analogue support for some strange reason on the digital version.

Oh, that's pretty cool then. Does it still act as though you're using the d-pad, or can you move the stick slightly to walk?

It will treat the Vita D-pad and the left stick (for example) as the PS1 pad if you assign them as such, that's what I did with some of the PSX Shmups I bought off US PSN that never had analog support. Made playing Sonic Wings Special much more flexible =3

Actually on Vita Crash 2 has native analogue support. It also works as intended on PSP Go when using a DS3. For some reason on PS3 its been configured to tell the emulator it supports digital only.

I was watching some videos of Crash Bandicoot and this level bring me very bad memories, i need it to stop playing Crash Bandicoot for a few days because of this level to refresh my mind, than I made it after i tried couple of times days later.

You mean Slippery Climb? Stormy Ascent was removed, but is still in the game's code and can be accessed by Gameshark. It was most likely removed because of difficulty concerns.

Tag Team Racing was a lot of fun, zany action, with some decent variety. Nitro Kart came during that "more of the same, but not as good" period, so like Wrath of Cortex it's familiar, but not as tight, nor as charming as the games they emulate.

Hey guys, are there any differences between Crash Twinsanity on PS2/Xbox? Also, can Twinsanty Xbox be played on 360? Thanks CrashGAF!

Yep, but both Nitro Kart and Wrath of Cortex still seemed better than the ones that came after by comparison. Not that I played any of 'em!

Sorry man, but this is a community thread, you would know right away from me and some other avid fans if a title is actually coming, but right now, it doesn't seem like it.

Also, that post from reddit about leaked Amazon US page for Crash PS4 is fake because by observing it, you can clearly see that the author of this fake copy-pasted the details from the Uncharted page and made it into a crash page and accessed it from his iPhone to try to prove it.

I feel pretty bad for the people who made this, having to throw away all their hard work on this game, and simply retool it into a Dreamswork racer :-/

Hey guys, first post in the CBC. I absolutely love the first three Crash Bandicoot games, especially the first one. I just 100% Crash Bandicoot in fact, and was wondering about speed running it on twitch. Would anybody watch if I started doing that? Seems really fun tbh.

Yeah, the Crash games have a handful of runners. You'd definitely attract some viewers. There's a few SDA threads on the game you can read if you'd like to see other peoeple's runs and get some ideas, like this 100% Single Segment thread https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/crash_bandicoot_1_single_segment_100_completion.html

If anyone is interested, there is a fan-made album called "Mash Bandicoot" that has Crash 1 inspired tracks, but be warned: It has swearing and maybe even inappropriate references, so, if you don't like these 2 things slipping while listening, then don't tell me that I didn't warn ya..

https://psycosis.bandcamp.com/album/mash-bandicoot

It's made by Psycosis btw

Also, a fun fact:
Here's some shocking trivia I discovered; the guy who does the art for Andy Gavin's book Untimed works at Vicarious Visions as an artist. Here's his art gallery if anyone's interested.

I was giving that a listen the other day, it's pretty good. My favorite tracks are Up the Super Bass, Owner of a Slippery Climb, and Toxic and I Know it actually works pretty well.

Triple Q has also been doing quite a few Crash mashups lately, including this one vs. Daft Punk and another surprisingly good one with Jason Derulo's Talk Dirty.

See the sketch above? This was made in Sept 2011 by Bob Rafei, which was his choice for what he wanted to draw as a request by 1UP (Now a dead site) for the Japan Charity.
Awesome, right?
Also, I found a ton of fan creations that are awesome, but because there is a lot of them, I will just share the links that goes to the posts I made about them in my fanblog Crashy News:
