PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida, who oversees all game development at Sony, has teased that Sony's E3 briefing in June will be one you won't want to miss.

"Some of the things that we are preparing for E3 are very, very exciting," Yoshida told GameSpot in a recent interview.

He went on to note that Sony is in the process of shaping its plans for what it will--and won't--show during the press conference, expected to be held on Monday, June 9.

I just hope that new and exciting PS4 stuff will be shown. My biggest fear is that they will devote a lot of time PS3 and that will lead into a Ubisoft demo (Assassins Creed) that was previously demoed at a Ubisoft conference, but just a different locale or level.

I'm surprised people get excited by something like the possibility of hearing something about The Last Guardian... it's like the biggest tease in videogames for a lot of gamers.

I hope a lot of new games will be shown.

I liked Sony's conference last year but it's hard to argue that MS did not hand the victory to them on a silver platter.

I'm expecting a slobberknocker this year between the two, it will be interesting to see where the dust settles after E3.

Just once I wanna see someone say something like: "Nah, I think we're taking it easy this year and show off what you all already know about."

The reactions alone would be great to see.
