So... APK is my only choice.

Can ShareFactory videos be recorded on the PS4 hard drive? I dont want to upload them to FB.

Loading of the friends list has improved as well. I have a little over 200 PSN friends, and previously scrolling quickly through it would cause names and icons further down the list to become blank, such that even when you stopped scrolling they would never load unless you left the menu and came back. This was 100% reproducible for me. The 1.70 update has fixed it; you can still get to a point where the names and icons are blank as you're scrolling through, but as soon as you stop scrolling they all load in properly.

That is the PC version seeing as he has cropped himself into the stream and the game is using xbox controller icons.

My PS4 is unavailable for the next few days - does anyone know if that horrible lag is gone when starting the console between the PS logo and the health warning?

Still jerky on the health warning but the OS is otherwise smoother.

Loading app icons was already quicker with my SSD but it's even smoother now.

- there also seems to be an option to automatically send error reports to Sony
- store, What's New, and overall UI seems to load faster

Yeah I put a share vid up on YouTube trough USB (which was all pretty quick) but it would be nice to upload directly. Maybe YouTube is holding out doesn't make sense why we don't have it as an option yet.

You forgot the most important stealth update, according to this post they fixed the Share bug:

There's also timestamps on the "Whats New" section. It tells you the day and time now.

Really mad about the controller dimming.
I would have liked a slider like the PC custom driver, it's still too bright IMO.

Shouldn't receivers handle that for you? I have a 7.1 receiver with 5.1 speakers attached and it just maps the sound to whatever speakers it's been set up to use. I don't miss any audio.

Or do some people have quirky or temperamental systems?

I have a 5.1 receiver but the PS4 i sending 7.1 audio into it.

it's HDMI. Lots of people have quirky/temperamental setups. It is generally a pain in the ass.
