It more than likely broke 150k (or 160 if we follow the "10% rule") since it got a spotlight on the Vita Store twice - and actually got an exclusive preorder stuff.

S>Y Shirt for 15,000 yen. lololololol

Good point, I doubt PSP version sold that many digital versions.

PS4 crosses streams with the PS3 this week, I think?

Going by the leaked 10129 Famitsu numbers, yes:

Edit: that's all Famitsu numbers, of course

ff14 is expected. i can't imagine there being many people interested in that game that haven't already picked it up on ps3 (you don't need to buy again on ps4)

Boy PS4 hasn't even reached WiiU's third week yet and it's already heading for sub 10k.

Reading past MC trashtalking about the WiiU is sure interesting now (not that it wasn't deserved)

Wii U benefit a lot from the Holidays. it was able to due good numbers (decent? maybe something more than that) even in the '13 Holidays.
PS4 launched well, kept good numbers until the launch hype faded, and then entered one of the worst period of all time for the Japanese market.
it will rise once the games will be released, and will overcome the Wii U easily, to me.

People need to get a grip about the PS4 sales. Seriously people, there isnt anything people exactly want on the system now or announced any time soon that would warrant a purchase.

I find it strange Sony isn't doing more bundles for the Vita. Compared to the insane amount of bundles the 3DS seems to get at least.

145k for SAO is a good opening number right?

It's a great number for an anime tie-in and for a Vita game in general. Namco must be pleased.

Is that a good thing?

11./13. [3DS] Kirby Triple Deluxe <ACT> (Nintendo) {2014.01.11} (¥4.800) - 6.326 / 559.903 (+2%)
12./14. [3DS] Pokemon X / Y # <RPG> (Pokemon Co.) {2013.10.12} (¥4.800) - 6.001 / 4.040.630 (+13%)

Why did Pokemon and Kirby go up? The bundle I guess?

Statistical noise on long-legged series, maybe.

Champion again for another week.

I wonder when mobiles and tablets will fall under the same hardware and software sales categories

It's always fun to play 'how low can it go?'.

You can't expect people to watch a system land with a soft 'plop' and not make a comment. Shit's interesting.

The software chart would be interesting.

I'm happy about Fossil Fighters reaching 150k milestone, seeing even an increase this week.
I really hope they'll localize it also for PAL regions.
Same comment obviously for YoKai

This , and it can get really frustrating sometimes .

Yes . the PS4 numbers are horrible ,there is no other way to say it , but people really should check WHY those numbers are horrible .
It isn't simply because of "Japanese gamers do not give a shit ".

On the other hand you can say why didn't Japanese Publishers give a shit? Although, I agree until some games actually come out it's hard to gauge whether Japanese consumers care or not.

Exactly, thank you. Nice to see someone gets it.

Code:
03./00. [3DS] Theatrhythm Final Fantasy <ACT> (Square Enix) {2012.02.16} (¥6.090) - 67.206 / NEW

So an improvement.
Cool
They're localizing the SAO game? That's surprising, Namco usually doesn't bother with that kind of game in the west unless it's from huge shonen franchises.
Well, with the amount of those cosplays from the series I guess they kinda make sense for them to localize it :p

I fail to see the distinction. It's selling horribly because there's no interesting software for it. Same as the WiiU.

Yeah, I could see that for Pokemon.

But I would be really surprised if Kirby's flatline was 6K.
