Nothing really of interest on the list to me, but it's no surprise as the only EA games I bought last gen were Mass Effect 1-3.

Is it likely EA will, after this fiscal year, rotate Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefields every other year?

They noted that they believe Battlefield, Battlefront, and Titanfall can all exist within the same fiscal year, so probably unlikely.

Not sure if that's everything, if only because:

Oh. Se we're going to get all 3 every year for the next decade, or until they flop?
I mean, that's the... worst case?

EDIT also, what are the chances ME4 will be announced at E3 and will be released next year? I ask because, what else is there for BioWare for the next year, not counting DLC.

Looks pretty damn thin, disappointed we aren't getting any Star Wars this year but I suppose that's to be expected.

The golf game comes from their team in Florida (whoever that is)

The TBA game is powered by Frostbite 3, revealed at E3.

3 map packs planned for Titanfall

2 more DLC packs for BF4

No NFS title this year

via the conference call going on right now.

"Will release fewer titles in 2015 as we focus on our titles".

Obviously Battlefield.

EDIT i guess Mirror's Edge 2 is a possibility but unlikely one, considering it started development last year, IIRC.

Titanfall and Battlefront probably won't be annual.

Mass Effect 4 has a shot of E3 and next year if we count next year as "Fall 2015".

Tiburon is in Florida.

Jesus =/

And people said budgets wouldn't rise this gen.

Doesn't Tiburon do Madden? Are they big enough for both? I guess I don't follow EA Sports that much, haha.

This is pretty much what I expect EA at retail this generation. Sports titles, Battlefield, Sims, with Titanfall sequels, Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Star Wars thrown in. I just hope Bioware gets to work on a new IP. I imagine Dragon Age and Mass Effect takes up a shit ton of staff though.

I'm just cynical so my worst case assumption is they'd be annual. But yeah, i get why they wouldn't be.

They've said Fall 2015 for ME4? Interesting.

Wait.
So, 2015 will se even...less titles than this year? The fuck.

NBA Live 15 ? really ?

Also i knew NFS would not come out this year. I hope they are giving it more time rather than binning it :(

Well the next Dragon Age, Titanfall, and presumably Mass Effect 4 probably won't be releasing next year. I don't think Mirror's Edge is scheduled for next year either. I think people are going to be pretty shocked at the number of next gen titles that come out from publishers this generation.

Edit: Ah FY 2015. Even so, I would expect a reduction next year at retail. Hopefully ME4 makes it out next year though.

New generation consoles seeing 2-3times greater digital downloads than previous generation

"Fiscal 2015" is what this report is about. I assume that's what they mean.

Ya, that's what they mean. They also said, and I'm not going to quote them because I'm typing from memory, but they went into this generation a little bit more cautiously. I would imagine they didn't want to tie too many games into this generation right away? Not sure...

They are talking about Fiscal Year 2015 I believe, which is now until next April.

Yeah, that does make more sense. Still, I suppose the number of FY2016 titles won't be that different compared to FY2015. Remove FIFA World Cup and (probably) BF Cops for this year, put one between Mirror's Edge 2 and Mass Effect 4 + Battlefield 5 in their place. Star Wars should be one more title for FY2016 compared to FY2015, at least.

Yep, they said they want to focus on development for it, so won't be releasing a new title within the upcoming fiscal year. Said to expect a title next year for it (so sometime next fall 2015 I'm guessing)

Wow that list is boring... The $ims 4 is coming in Q2, why haven't we heard much about the game for the last 6-9 months?! Weird..

So their entire release list for the year basically consists of sequels, cross-gen games and essentially no PC sports games for another generation. F*ck off EA...

Wrong about commas, wrong about everything
TBA? I LOVE that franchise. Glad to see it coming back.

Edit: Guys, Mirror's Edge was already announced. It's not TBA

Thank God for indies cos the lineup has been dire >_>

I wonder if they can thrive on consoles with all of the expectations that come from being on one. Are console gamers going to be receptive to stuff that will very likely be less polished and less extravagant with presentation and sheer amount of content?

Didn't the guys at Warhorse (the devs making Kingdom Come) mention that when looking for publishers, they got the impression that they were scared the new consoles were going to flop, and so they didn't have much coming beyond the typical, guaranteed sellers? Seems like they may have been onto something, at least with EA.

There's supposed to be a lot of info coming at E3. So far the only news about the Sims has been about the new Sims AI, CAS, and new Build mode. They've been pretty quiet but I don't remember having much information about the Sims 3 until a few months before it launched.
