Which edition of Watch Dogs are you buying? Here's a spreadsheet to help you out..

Where's that picture of the Mona Lisa and it's cut up into segments for DLC?

Cuz we need to slice that picture up some more just for this case.

it's sad that a lot of stuff are exclusive to different countries or Playstation.

and how the hell does the season pass not cover everything?

edit: oh nvm the latter half of the list are physical items.

Ugh, this kind of DLC practice is irredeemable. It's like having six different versions of the director's cut of a movie, each version having one or two unique scenes that aren't in the other versions.

I read the title and thought the OP was joking... Then I saw the graphic.

Seriously? This is a tad rediculous. What happened to just releasing the game instead of potentially partitioning it off?

It is pretty sad really. I feel bad for those who are interested in the title. I wasn't planning on picking it up because ubisoft tends to do strange things
intrusive drm among others
with their games on PC (platform i'd purchase it for).

As someone who never had a horse in this race, I can't change how it will finish, but geez. I'd figure after 3-4 boxes being different there would have been some sanity check going on giving the people who were dreaming it up a moment to pause and wonder if it really needed to be this way.

After seeing this picture I'll make sure to keep my distance from this game, that is just ridiculous.

About to say. It's like you need to take multiple rounds of surveys, questionnaires and testing to figure out which one to buy.

I lost interest in the game anyway a while ago. Ubisoft can go fuck themselves with this total horse shit. Like... WHAT IS THIS?

"Here's a helfpful spreadsheet to help you see how no matter what version you buy, there's some shit you're gonna miss out on. Please be excited!"

This chart proves how retarded and exploitative a lot of this Day One DLC stuff, but it doesn't matter since the only way I'm getting Watch Dogs through a graphics card bundle.

Jesus... like 10 DLC's (I guess mostly small stuff, but still) and the game isn't even out yet.

IF I get any version it will probably be the standard. But not yet sure, the took too long and my hype is basically dead by now.

Might just wait a few months and grab it used for $30-40

This is very helpful OP. Thank you for posting this. It really clears up a lot of my confusion regarding the different versions.

I would like to get the PS4 version for the extra content but I hate the controller.

Unfortunately I'm taking a wait and see approach to this game. I'm wary of the delays, they're almost always a bad sign. I'm also deeply suspicious of Ubisoft giving away free tablets to journalists at a preview of this game.

If I miss out on any pre-order content, oh well. If I wind up dodging the bullet on another disappointing Ubisoft game, woo hoo!

Like others I'm either getting the Fuck You™ Edition for...you guessed it...0 dollars, aka NEVER, or the This Is Bullshit™: Black Friday Edition for 20 bucks

God damnit Ubi. I still can't believe this.

haha I was waiting for this

Also the picture in the OP needs an extra column added with 'pirated' and "YES" in all the boxes

These pre order craps and all the parceled content are just an incentive to not buy the game at all or at least wait for the goty in a steam sale for 5-10 bucks a year after release

Sometimes, you just to have to hate the game industry...

Anyways, getting the standard edition and a Season Pass, when it's on sale.

On a side note the PSN Gold Edition is the best way to go it seems, the gold edition is only missing the physical content. Extra 20 bux tho, looks like SOny really locked that game up.

I'm still picking it up. It sucks DLC is being handled this way but it's mainly just costumes and weapons that you can probably get in game or will be released later on.

I'm just buying the PS4 standard edition. If I like the game enough, I'll get the season pass since it includes all the DLC. Don't really care about any of the physical stuff so I'm all set.

Probably none of the versions, even before seeing that terrible chart.

That absurb spider-mech USB drug trip BS killed whatever interest I had left, especially in a game trying to tackle serious issues (sex trafficking?).

I just want a cloth map...but I want all the DLC...so many choices. I think I'll end up just going DedSec edition, all the other DLC will be available in some form or another.

Uhhh, that was optional side missions. How does that "ruin" the game?

It's like an abusive relationship. You're constantly getting fucked and forced to deal with bullshit all the time, but you get your way often enough to stick around and hope that things will get better.

I was looking at this for the Wii U, and now I have to wait and see if the DLC is worthwhile because that platform might never get a GOTY edition.

Regular edition on PC for me. If the game is compelling enough and I expend all of the regular content, maybe I'll think about getting some of the DLC.
