It's amazing to me how many people on reddit posted that 'E3 leak' from yesterday w/ the "Shard of Nightmare" and how maybe ONE comment pointed out how it was a fake. :/ How was it not inherently obvious that no document like that would ever exist for any reason ever?

Well, people are just being gullible. We go through these bullshit E3 rumor lists every year, but clearly, some people just don't know when to stop believing them.

Guys, did you see that.?

"Today, a member at the "Mega Lizardon Battle" in Yokohama has been suprised by a "teaser" in the end of the tournament. "I cannot tell you more about this right now"."

Pokken becomes more and more real.

Ok thanks this gives me hope they have a couple of games to show hopefully one of them is Star Fox

Important to note is that EAD haven't made a Star Fox game since the N64 one and the one guy who has been working on all of them (coordinator, director, consultant, etc), Mr Imamura, has been working on Vitei with Steel Diver Subwars.

Yeah I'm quoting my post from another topic here

The Charizard Mega Battle tournament where this was shown was TCG only. As this was a TCG event, it's not logical that they're showing a game thing here.

In addition to this, the next set, Rising Fist, is coming out soon and is to be officially revealed this week. This set is focused on Fighting-type Pokémon, with Mega Lucario as the main focus.

It's possible that Rising Fist ties in with a fighting game (I have had the theory for a while since the set was leaked and my knowledge of the Rising Fist trademark by Game Freak, Creatures Inc and Nintendo back in September - They never do this for TCG sets), but it's just as likely, if not far more likely, that this is for another Charizard Mega Battle style competition.

Precisely Star Fox 64 was the last great game in the series and Miyamoto said he would like the next star fox to be developed internally again so here's hoping EAD are working on that right now and bring the series back with a bang

Oh man, people will be so pissed when it turns out that Pokken will be a new series of cards in the TCG.

I'd rather have a vidyagame

Or a Arcade Card Battle game where you have to pay for each card at the premium price of $3 each.

That site literally just connected the vaguest things along with a bullshit E3 list and says that the guy is teasing Pokken...

It is a TCG tournament/event called "Mega Lizardon Battle" (Lizardon is Charizard in Japanese). There is no indication in that quote WHATSOEVER that it is related to video games.

"PokemonTrash" indeed lol.

Oh man, if that is pokken, that's a really nice roster.

Hawlucha, Dragonite, Lucario, Blaziken, Machamp, all fantastic choices for a fighting game.

Even if that image is teasing something completely different, all of the characters it has would definitely be a good starting point for a Pokken roster. Of course there would have to be much more than that, but Hawlucha alone would get me excited!

It's not but I'm hoping that they would use those pokemon for Pokken tho. I think those choices are fantastic tho.

If it's just the "fighter themed set" then Dragonite to be Dragon/Fighting confirmed :lol

Mega Dragonite being Dragon/Fighting for Hoenn Remake confirmed!?

Two copies sold? That's not a bomb guys, stop trolling!!!
My take on the "Mock at me if old" in the Business development department thread is certainly a critique against bad journalism and bad reporting here on Gaf as well, buuut...

I think this is wrong as well; you shouldn't punish "good" websites with capable journalists just because there are some black sheeps

Polygon has been discussed a lot and we know what kind of people write their stuff on there - there dozens of other websites that might appeal to you a lot more

Eurogamer has always splendid articles and good news coverage, Kotaku does good news coverage for the most part and there are a few others I didn't mention that do a good job

And also: I'm not saying that all of Polygon is bad, some of their writers are pretty good - but Ben Kuchera articles don't need to be read by anyone

Hear this guy. He's right. Yeah, there are too many bad "journalists", regardless of Nintendo articles or not. And, maybe, we see their inability of being real journalists with Nintendo, at least much more than in other articles. But there are other journalists who are good and who do a good, if not a great job. Don't punish them because (too) many others are tabloid-level reporters. Generalisation is bad in lots of cases, and this is one of those as well, more or less ;)

Lol is that Jynx in the background (bottom left)?

That totally looks like a ring and with bunch of fighting type Pokémons... PokéTrash or not this shit is going down.

So with this info: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=818059

The titles we are preparing to show you at E3 vary from being nearly complete to still in the early phases of development but with the core of its appeal noticeable.

I really can't recall the last time nintendo showed off games in an early state at E3 since like... the nintendo 64 days. Maybe a CG trailer if they were too early to be shown, but this makes it sound like gameplay.

I assume he's talking about NFC games, maybe even zelda, if it's bigger than we anticipated.

Twilight Princess trailer 2 and a half years before it came out. But I guess to be fair, it would have been ready the next year if they hadn't ported it to Wii.

Give me playable Mawile and Pokken is my GOTY.

Speaking of GOTY, I've thought about something, assuming Pokken is a pokémon versus fighting game for WiiU: is it coming this year?

I'm very doubtful about it, WiiU just had one of the worst droughts in gaming history, so bad they probably delayed DKCR:TF to patch up the gigantic hole (December-May). Now though we're looking at Mario Kart and then X, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors and Smash all before year's end. So I guess everything WiiU they announce at E3 is for 2015?

Will they please release Pocket Football (Soccer) Club in America? It's driving me god damn insane that they haven't announced plans yet.
