Again, let me know if I'm doing anything wrong/weird.

Neither is necessarily wrong or weird, but Minus has slow load times for a lot of people, and Sta.sh or Flickr tend to universally load pretty fast, and usually people resize their screenshots before posting them since that's where the benefit of downsampling comes from.

You can use something like photoshop, or Fastone Image Viewer (that ones free!) to resize them to 1920x1080 before you upload.

These Watch Dog screenshots are all amazing. I can see the future of this thread filled with them lol. I can't wait to play my copy on Tuesday. Also, im loving those Killer is Dead screenshots. Loved the game on PS3. Definitely going to pick this game up on Steam.

I really don't like the look of the game for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on it. It may just be the art style. However, the water looks great! Your shots are very nice as well.

I think it looks great at max settings and high res but that 'something' I think is general lighting.

It seems a bit dull and lifeless.

Not an amazing looking game by any means but it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do their usual reveal antics.

To me, Watch Dogs is like AC1 in many ways. Decent foundation that can be vastly improved for a sequel that could make it take off similar to what AC2 did for that series.

To me, Watch Dogs is like AC1 in many ways. Decent foundation that can be vastly improved for a sequel that could make it take off similar to what AC2 did for that series.

Don't worry there'll be three sequels and two spin offs, each with DLC, season passes and eight different collectors editions within the next 2 years.

CyberPunked, HolyFridge, and N1ghtW4lk3R, how did you get the game to unlock early? Did you find retail copies, or review copies, or is there a way to unlock on Steam via VPN?

I know such things are possible, legal, and acceptable, so it would be nice to hear how you three managed for those of us who want to play this weekend. I don't mean tell which mom and pop store you found so they get in trouble, I just mean if it's retail, review, or whatever.

The game looks quite decent to me, though perhaps it's downsampling helping the quality a lot.

Nvidia bundle the game with GPUs. People have the codes that way, or have put those codes on e-bay. If you have the code, you can unlock the game through U-Play as normal without issue.

I don't think so. Nvidia/Uplay don't give you actual cd keys. They give you codes to buy the game 100% off on the uplay store. The game is not added till launch. Most people bought retail keys off key sellers, not GPU keys

You're right. There is a leaked PC build floating around the usual places, which may or may not be complete. Everyone else either got their physical copy shipped early, or they're journalists.

I think a better response is "don't ask don't tell" for most things.

I like the vpn analogy. You already paid for the game, but if pirating it in a fashion that doesn't distribute it to others is still "stealing" then so is using a VPN to unlock it earlier than your timezone lets you.

Anyways, I have purchased the game last week, thanks for the screens!

Do these 'actual' gaming sites not include their forums? Because gametrailers PC screenshot threads are littered with people who have pirated games.

Either you're abusing sharpening or you're using some kind of lanczos4 to downsample. In any case the halos around the edges are quite visible.

you have to edit each setting individually to 0, e.g recticle, minimap, waypoint etc

set the file to read only mode afterwards if it resets upon launch
