Since my pc seems to be able to run it and the whole lower res on ps4 i decided to get the pc version. I have some credit in gamestop so i wanted to get the physical release.

What i wanted to ask is if there is a code that you can use to register the game on uplay and then download it instead of installing it from the disks (i have no dvd on my pc at the moment although i could transfer it from another pc).

Naah,preload is N/A.It's just my preorder which made an icon itself with a timer till 00:00GMT.

But it's downloading a 3.5gb file here at the moment, isn't that technically a preload?

Once the 3.5GB file is done if you press the 'options' button on the Watch Dogs icon and go to 'information' you can see it's downloading the rest of the game still. So pre-load is active after all! Strange!

You are doing God's work responding to all my question. Also is there any reason not to use the silenced pistol? It seems like the best for all situations.

When given the choice I've usually opted for the silenced pistol for a stealth approach (along with take-downs) but there are occasions when things go loud (either due to me failing or because they are to begin with) when switching to another weapon is probably a good idea, especially if you're dealing with a lot of people. In which case I'd pull my assault rifle/shotgun out depending on range. You do come across armored enemies as well which the silenced pistol isn't as effective on. I haven't seen too many of these just yet as I'm still early in the story itself but I'm going to assume they'll appear more frequently as you progress through it. Could be wrong. So yeah, I do tend to use the silenced pistol more than most but it's not to the degree where all my other weapons go unused. Each have come in use for me so far.

[Edit: Forgot to mention but there are a couple of silenced SMGs as well as the silenced pistol. I only just noticed those]

Online which consists of four modes including free roam, four side missions which include spider tank and a heap of Easter eggs and collectables and achievements.

From what I gathered:
There's no release date check from UPlay itself so if you have a physical copy and install it Uplay will allow you to play. If you have digital key you need to wait.

From my experience, GMG can be hit or miss. There's been a couple times where I didn't get my key until after noon the day the game released when I pre-ordered from them, but people who bought the day prior got a key right away.

Then there's been a few times where I've gotten the key days before release.

The first one suffered from repetitiveness. They had small amount of game modes which they plastered all over the map with no storyline during gameplay. No multiplayer. Just bare.

Watch dogs is different. It has a storyline. It has many different game modes. Has multiplayer. Has a skill tree. It's pretty decked out.

edit:Obviously not.After you go to options-->information you can clearly see it is still downloading.Currently 6052MB/16GB ,however this is definitely a preload.Good job SONY.

Try this to see if it's still downloading the rest:

Once the 3.5GB file is done if you press the 'options' button on the Watch Dogs icon and go to options you can see it's downloading the rest of the game still. So pre-load is active after all! Strange!

For what it's worth, it looks like Watch_Dogs Deluxe Edition downloaded overnight for me. How else do I explain this?

System Settings -> Storage -> Applications is showing Watch_Dogs is consuming 22Gb

you probably misunderstood me , i meant it in a sense that both game arent that great as they could be - AC1 has repetivness and WC from what i gathered have a lot of featured which arent fleshed out enough. And AC2 improved pretty much everything from AC1. So here is hope that WD2 will be amazing.

As for MP i dont really care since i finished stuides and started working.

But I didnt played WD yet so will see - just saw a lot of people claming that game is mediocre and boring with grat ideas (but that might be just denial and anger over that enourmous hype)

Just preordered game on EU PSN. I will be able to play in 7.5 hours.

Oh and it's preloading. I preodered it, and then clicked download. It downloaded 3.5 GBs and a patch. Now i can see progress in the options. You can go to SEN site and add game to download queue. If you are in EU, i suppose.

I wonder why under download status the full dload is 16GB ,however the size above is 22GB.6GB are somewhere lost.Or maybe the same will be downloaded at 00:00.
