If this is a smaller scope Battlefield game with less emphasis on vehicules, similar to Bad Company, then it will be the game for me.

Same here. I like Battlefield, but the thing I like the least are the vehicles oddly enough.

How did someone allow this to happen. I mean we knew about it but nothing besides it being a police themed game. So far it had been kept under wraps fairly well detail wise. Now it's all undone.

I'm excited to see the series do something fairly different but I am not sure how the cops/robbers theme will work with the scale/vehicles battlefield is known for. Maybe fighting drug cartels or something?

I might be in the minority here but as far as consoles go I feel like battlefield games have the best gunplay. I'm open to more battlefield as long as they try to differentiate it from the
mainline series, which this seems to be doing. hyped

That said I don't expect an actual unveil, but perhaps like, an acknowledgement a la Assassin's Creed: Unity.

Not if each brand within Battlefield is able to differentiate itself enough. This game is currently sounding very different from the traditional BF games. And the concept is obviously very different. They can/should also bring Bad Company into the loop and keep the old humor. That way they could keep the brand relevant every year while avoiding franchise fatigue because each game is very different from the last.

Just like Call of Doge and Call of Future stayed relevant every year after Call of JFK Assassination and Call of Modern Warfare 2-3?

OH WAIT, the series has been losing sales year over year since JFK.

Same thing will happen with Battlecops and Battlefield if Bad Company came back. Again: Stop chasing the CoD money, let Battlefield do Battlefield and STOP RELEASING A DAMN YEARLY SHOOTER FROM THE SERIES. After BF4's launch it's readily apparent EA needs to stop with that shit.
