I remember them pretty darkly colored, though colored I suppose. It's been awhile. Souls can justify it though since its so impossibly impassive. The idea behind the game and it's atmosphere, is what I mean. Then again, I'm getting terrorized in Scram Kitty right now and you can't get a happier looking game than that outside of Kirby.

I prefer the dark and gloomy look over the high fantasy look. I'm pretty sure the game will have more colourful areas.....a lava area is guaranteed lol The game right now is giving me Castlevania vibes and I dig it.

I think even more trustworthy is that DemonNite was dropping beastly hints before the game was even leaked.

Yupp, seen a few sites pick up on it or just personal blogs. I'm just waiting for webhallen to sell me a collectors edition and then I know it to be true :D

It was supposed to be a 2013 TGS reveal from Demonite's hints last year, so it probably just got delayed.

The screencaps are from a trailer, I see no reason for them not to reveal this at E3.

DemonNite teased the title for TGS last year, which it didn't appear at which means they probably postponed the reveal to another event + the game got leaked about one month before E3 this year.

I suspect TGS will no longer get any big console reveals, unless they're for games specifically targeted at the Japanese market. It makes much more sense to announce a new Souls game at E3. It might not be a big seller, but it has a lot of pull with the hardcore audience, like us.

I do hope that this doesn't turn out to be one of the most hateful internet trollings of all time. Would be rather crushing if its a rumor. I don't see how it can be, really. I think Sony have been kicking themselves ever since the success of the original DS, and then its subsequent leap to multi-platform status.

I believe!

I secretly hope for an open-world, PS4, Wild Arms too. But I know that dream is only fantasy.

Dunno about that, given the delays to games especially after the reactions to this game being leaked. I think it was more excitement for this than there was for the order, so the order is delayed which leaves holiday wide open for this game to shine and then the great flood of sony first part games comes rushing in from there on out.

Im feeling its coming fall/winter 2014.

Yep, Latria and (to some degree) VoD are the only places that doesn't feel generic to me. Everything else is covered in dull grey and brown.

Dark Souls did a much better job capturing the essence of a dark fantasy world.

Wtf, 157 pages? Yeesh.

I'd definitely be down for a Demon's Souls 2, even if I like the Dark series better. As long as it's god that tight Souls gameplay and Miyazaki behind it, it's gotta be good.

May would be more than good enough. In my dreams that have nothing to do with reality, I imagine a future where Ni No Kuni 2 comes out in January, The Witcher 3 in February, The Order 1886 in March, LBP3 that's a 60$ game not a shite F2P in April, Beast Souls: Bloodbourne in May, and Uncharted 4 in June right/on after E3, same day as TLOU. My body
wallet
would be ready.

I think it would be wise for Sony from a marketing POV for them to have the Souls as part of the title. It would likely sell 1,5-2 million if that happens.
