Why be disappointed in NeoGAF (by the way, NeoGAF is not a hive mind. The COMMUNITY is not disappointed with the visuals; some individual posters are. That's a lazy way out of addressing specific criticism)? Because they have a different standard of visuals than you do? I think the game looks good (not close to one of the most impressive, but good) but I'm not quite sure if it matches what they showed before. I need to see more.

I'm not trying to group the entirety of GAF into my post, but I didn't feel like quoting everyone who had something negative to say about this game. Many posters here are very reasonable people who build a great discussion, but it's the ones whom are so vocal about their disapproval that really gets my goat. Those people are their own hive mind. They feed off each other.

I have a certain standard I like games to meet, but how can you say QB isn't top tier for a console? It's the little nit-picks that I see people posting that's annoying--small stuff that's inconsequential.

Visually I think it looks great. As for the gameplay, it's hard to say as Remedy have only shown tiny snippets so far but I've enjoyed all their previous stuff so this should hopefully be no different. I think the game may live or die on the quality of the live action content and currently I'm a bit sceptical as to how that will turn out. The delay will be disappointing to a lot of people but for me, not having many great reasons to buy an Xbox One and a PS4 until next year is a good thing.

aren't the same thing. It especially doesn't ignore criticism but I do think being so focused on graphics ignores everything else. People focus on that more then gameplay possible story elements etc...

It seems to be the case, which is extremely interesting to me. Even with a delay, I figured that MS would give this game a big presence at E3, with them saying gameplay at Gamecon, means that we wont see much at E3. Perhaps this video will be shown or a different version of this video. With the Halo stuff being already mentioned, this news and the $399.99 console, MS must be really confident in what they have to show at E3.

On the main topic, if that is really gameplay, especially that scene where the main character is high in the air and is using his legs and arms to shimmy around blew me away. It looks extremely impressive.

I agree, but delays this Gen seems to be panning out. I love what they have done with the delay to Driveclub. While that game was originally a launch title and was delayed over a year, from what we have seen it has been worth it. I would rather wait for them to polish the game instead of them being rushed.

Because saying the game play in the Order looks similar to one of the game series that defined the last generation of gaming isn't an insult in any way. Saying Quantum Break gives you Fuse vibes is basically saying you think the game looks like crap.

While I don't see Quantum Break being able to achieve the graphical fidelity of Infamous:SS or The Order: 1886, it should be able to match Ryse (900p/30fps). Ryse is still, 7+ months after launch, one of the best looking games on Xbox, if not the best. So if Remedy can match that they should be fine. As always, remember Beauty is the Eye of the Beholder.

If anyone can do it, it's Remedy. Have a little bit more faith.

Already mentioned a bunch, but the game never had a release date so it's silly to say it's been delayed.

The game looks incredible, and I love the details and style to it as well too. Remedy can take their sweet time with it, although 2015 is already looking stacked with all of the games I want.

There's no bad game, good game connotation.

It's literally just, "this game is a cover based shooter, so I'll prematurely label it a clone of a cover shooter before it"

Between this and Sunset Overdrive, MS has the first two games that truly interest me this gen. If Forza Horizon is actually a thing, that will be number 3.
