I would like to see us start in the WC:

Sturridge
Lallana, Barkley, Sterling

Just go for it. Put Gerrard and Henderson behind. Gerrard for his playmaking from deep. Henderson for workfare, cover, link up to the three in front.

I don't think Rooney has shown enough to justify him starting. Would rather have Lallana on the left as that is were he regularly plays.

thanks for the laugh
probably the most conservative lineup that woy could've picked. he's culled anyone who (for better or worse) actually likes to run with the ball.

As Viva said, play Rooney left problem solved.

If he actually plays wide then sure. When he cuts inside and that's where things go south

Why not? I doubt we will win it, be good to see some exciting youngsters play.

I'm all for playing them, they have been consistent this season. But nah to starting them, it is the World Cup. The World Cup! Play your best. And just because we aren't gonna win doesn't mean Woy should fudge it and play the U21s for experience.

Holy shit.

Great goal from Argentina. Messi ---> Di Maria ---> Aguero ---> Messi ---> Goal

Shouldn't be a problem if he has intelligent players around him and Baines on the outside.

Anyway, it's more of a problem that Welbeck and Henderson are there instead of Barkley and Wilshere.

I'd have sterling in for welbeck, not barkley. Sterling has looked like a top player every time I have seen him

If only they didn't have your mobs' excuse of a defence.

I just worry that, like when he plays for United, he will not stay in position and instead wonders trying to influence and dictate the game

United had intelligent players (I know), but it didn't stop Rooney wondering about

As for starting Wilshere/Barkley ahead of Henderson....nah son. Wilshere not had a good enough season and Barkley too raw

Playing a extra man in midfield I can get on board with though

Agreed. Sterling for Welbeck and that's your 11 imo

Poor 3Sixty :(

Steve Bruce, with his face like a recently-used obese woman's cushion.
Steve Bruce, with his face like a deflated beachball.
Steve Bruce, with his face like the Pigeon Lady from Home Alone 2.

"Wuh got wor backsides kicked, that's for sure."

Are you prepared, 3Sixty?

No.

Though I must say Steve Bruce pioneered the striker-less formation that was later adopted by the Spain team in a League Cup game at Brighton or some shit.

We lost. With three strikers on the bench.
