Why? TLoU released just a few months ago and, for the most part, is still $60 everywhere. Obviously something like this collection has exponentially more content, but most of it is older content.

The Last of US released in June 14 2013 World Wide.. not a few months ago. It doesn't matter that the content is old, but the fact that we're getting SO much more included in the package is great. 1080p 60fps on all games with dedicated servers for multiplayer alone for me as a Halo fan is worth the money.

All multiplayers intact. Halo 2 has six maps that are redone graphically, but also has the originals. All dedicated servers too.

You can play all the games' original mp online. They also have 6 Halo 2 maps which have been re-imagined which can be played on a new engine.

The anniversary maps are re-textured like Halo CE Anniversary. The rest of the maps are untouched from the original game.

I haven't payed $60 for a new game in a decade.. There are always deals and sales for new releases if you go to CheapAssGamer. I have a Bestbuy Gamer Club account that takes 20% off new games and usually gives an additional $10 cert. If people don't want to take the time to find a deal let them pay full price.

While they're at it with the 1080p/60fps upgrade, I hope that they're making Halo 1 and 2 properly widescreen for multiplayer online, and widen the field of view for all of them, especially Halo 4 which was annoying as hell.

Both. Haven from Halo 4 will use Halo 4's engine. Sand Trap from Halo 3 will use Halo 3's and so on.

That's what I thought too until they announced the "playlists" idea, which seemed to bring content from a variety of the games ... But maybe not, maybe it just switched between, say, Halo 1 map type with Halo 1 mode, to HAlo 2, etc. But... I dunno because every Halo 1 map is just 4 player, right?

They clearly took no notes from Halo 4 bringing back armour abilities to Halo 5. No, changing the name to "spartan" abilities doesn't magically make them something different. They will still completely break the game.

Oh well, we can play some real Halo at least.

The remade halo 2 maps can't be halo 4 straight...they were dual wielding. But it is probably not the same as halo two as it doesn't look like an anniversary skin...dunno though
