Why release them as one pack instead of seperatly with a cumulative multiplayer component? I think they'd make more money. Or just 3 packs: Halo 1&2, Halo 3 and ODST and a Halo 4 + additional content and Halo 5 beta.
I think thats what is happening , it be dumb to only offer 6, so all with 6 remastered

Halo 4 was prob the best looking 360 game. I can't imagine it in 1080p60!!

And I didn't know the cutscenes were CG. That's a big disappointment. I love CG, just not in my videogames because the gulf is enormous.
And looks like the cutscenes kept the huge black borders in case you're too dumb to know it's a cutscene. Oy.
And watching more of the gameplay, it seems as if the 1080p/60fps target isn't leaving room for AA. Halo 3 to still be a jag-fest?

Really can't wait to put this in the drive for the first time and hear those monks chant! This is really one of the best values in gaming ever.
Also, Halo 1 getting online multiplayer for the first time. Fuck. It's a dream come true.

I posted this in the other Halo thread but i'll post it here as well in responce to your post as i think this is what will happen imo -
Its not finished but i wouldn't expect it to get much better. It would be a bit silly to have a Halo 1-4 collection where Halo 2 is by far the best looking game. It will imo stay close to Halo 4 level so we have a 1080p/60fps Halo collection where all the games look very similar in quality.

My mind is still blown away by the amount of content that will be included in this collection, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Even though I've stated in the past that I kind of regretted buying an XB1 at launch, I can finally say that really I'm glad that I have one. This game is just one of the reasons. There are several more to look forward to this fall and in 2015.

Subbed to the thread, something I usually don't do unless it's really worth following.
I'm still confused about this hybrid MP engine also included, all the base games are awesome but there is still a cloud of mystery over the 5th MP engine included.

Yeah, I expressed my disappointment at this as well. The Halo 2 footage I saw yesterday had terrible aliasing.
I'm not sure 343 has said this yet. Someone needs to post a link where this was confirmed. Anyone?

So excited to see Halo moving forward in the right direction again. No more trying to appeal to the mass casual audience like what happened with Halo 4. 343 has shown they're willing to learn from their mistakes and looks to be not only broadening their horizons by introducing many who have never played Halo to nearly the entire collection, but also catering to their hardcore fanbase who may have previously left after being fedup of dealing with things like sprint, loadouts, no set weapon spawns. I'm so excited to get this game in my veins. The golden days of Halo 2/3 are some of my fondest gaming memories and I was crushed by what became of the series between Reach and Halo 4. Sure the COD fans may buy your game, but the numbers clearly showed once the newer yearly COD game was released they flocked back to what they know.
