Rumor: 3 more Wii U exclusives hinted by the one who hinted at Devil's Third

If they didn't get revealed during E3, then they aren't important or exciting.

Not necessarily. Remember when Nintendo announced the 3DS XL 2 weeks after E3 2012? Hard to predict when they'll announce stuff.

Whatever they end up being, I hope they're good. I don't own a Wii U, nor have I owned any other Nintendo platform for years, but I still want them to be successful. I'm just waiting for a price drop before I pull the trigger on a Wii U, hopefully next year. Maybe with the Zelda U bundle.

Haha I highly doubt BG&E2 is Wii U exclusive or that it even exists.

Well, we're talking about games nintendo would have to step in to save.

We know Ancel got fairly deep into this from that eurogamer article a while back, and we know ubisoft are ubisoft, so...

Bulletstorm 2

Vanquish 2

Kid Icarus Uprising 2

That last one is first-party, but the HOLY SHOOTER TRINITY must be reunited!

Or Bayonetta 2.
I compared it to Fatal Frame because that's actually developed internally at KoeiTecmo whereas Platinum is independent. I would imagine a hypothetical BG&E2, Nintendo funded or otherwise, would be developed by Ubisoft Montpellier.

I would give so much for a Bulletstorm 2. The first game was the most fun I've had with an FPS ever.

Hmmmm. Question. How big is Team ninja?

not so big, I think. what are they working on, right now? didn't they announced a Ps4 exclusive some months ago?

btw, if the rumor is true, people should think about indipendent studios or third party games already hinted or announced, not to second party nor dreamlike games

he was right abut devil, I don't know in this cas. three projects similar to Bayo2 or Devil's seem maybe too much. but Ni-oh could be...

I want to add that given this leaker's previous teases, I'm sure it's japanese-developed games (no BG&E2, etc), and probably not a crossover as no one leaked SMTxFE and Hyrule Warriors.
I'd really like one of those being No More Heroes 3, and I can see it happening (wii "exclusive", no publisher wanting it due to low numbers, fit those recent nintendo second party more mature games, etc).

Hmmmm. Question. How big is Team ninja?

I think I remember something saying how they were one of Tecom's biggest teams since the new organization recently (still think they're mainly working on NG4 and other smaller projects on the side: helping with HW, DoA5U, DoAX3...).

Totally off topic but.

Is this confirmed?? :(

Suda 51 is quickly becoming Itagaki in terms of disappointment.

Lily Bergamo also kind of had hints of No More heroes, however I guess it being a beat em up and Gungho wanting to have F2P monetisation was too conflicting.

Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.

Yea that's what I was wondering. I have a good idea of their next big project and i was just curios if they were large enough to take on another one

I don't think they said it was exclusive, just that they were working on a PS4 game. Which, you know, Japanese studio and I think they were talking to a Japanese magazine, so if it were on Xbone, probably no point in saying it there.

They've also implied they are working on Ninja Gaiden, so I'd imagine it's that. DOA5U seems to content to just make DLC/Arcade characters for now.

Doesn't read OPs, especially not his own
If they didn't get revealed during E3, then they aren't important or exciting.
A pokemon game was announced like a month before E3, whether a game gets announced at E3 or not has little bearing on it being exciting or not, thats a stupid metric.

ypu im willing to believe skies is one of them after sega went silent with the ports coming to arcade and psn

Holy crap! Today's real megaton is that more than two people can have the same first name.

Not true in Nintendo's case, they likely have saved some reveals for the next Directs, and we'll probably get another 3-4 of them before the year's out.

I want to believe but it's impossible to take this seriously knowing it come from Gameblog.

devil's third call was quite accurate

If ni-oh can be seen as a side project maybe even developed together with some N support, they could go ahead with their ps4 game and this one, otherwise not. not at the same time

I was just giving additional examples of Nintendo funding the development of other titles. But I suppose there's a difference between "ordering" a slice of Bayonetta as opposed to making an exclusivity deal.

Yeah.

I don't understand responses like the one you responded to. Nintendo doesn't operate like other companies. They randomly drop big news all the time without much rhyme or reason. The only thing we can predict with some degree of accuracy is their release schedule, since they have similar release slots every year.

Guillermo del Toro's Insane, maybe. We haven't heard about that one long before THQ's bankrupcy.

Hmm...please correct me if I'm wrong but IIRC this project was never officially canceled right?

Please don't do this man...I wouldn't be able to survive all the hype if this was announced. T_T

No, not really. The game was probably shown too early to generate much hype. (Although multiplayer looks like it will be a blast.)

Shown too early? As of December it was 80% finished: http://www.siliconera.com/2013/12/30/alive-devils-third-80-complete-coming-next-year/

Wasn't there another Sonic game planned after Boom and Sochi?

Sonic: Lost World, Sochi and Boom are the three Wii U exclusives. Sonic Team are probably working on a PS4/XB1/Wii U game for 2015.

I hope they'll have a September direct as the one before wiiu launch. there they announced cod blops2, mh3u, bayonetta2, ken's rage and warrior orochi3 hyper. none of those were first nor second party, just third or funded by N. Would be the perfect moment to unveil FExSMT, Fatal frame, Cod modern warfare and ni-oh, to me :p

that is a great call, especially because I struggle to see them funding western games, but THQ is the exception, because of its unfortunate fate...
